3.5 cm… That’s freaking small. It’s more like a keychain to me. LOL.

D00d, I need some help. I’m gonna buy a new lens for my camera but can’t decide on whether to go for a dedicated Macro lens or an all round zoom lens with Macro mode.
What lens do you use for your figure shoots? If you can provide a direct link to the product, it’ll be great; otherwise just the basic stats will do as well (like F size and zoom length).

@Th
I used Nikon D40 to do all my figure photoshoots. As for the lens, I only used the one that’s given from the kit, the normal 18-55mm Nikkor lens, and it’s been great for me ^^
All the photos are taken in Manual mode, since you can adjust the settings to your own need. I’ve tried using the Macro mode several times, but so far the Manual modes still produced better pictures.
What camera are you using btw? ^^

I pretty much decided that I am going with Konata.
Mostly because of the fact that she has what I consider a classic look (for her, at least). And despite the size, there are no real positioning issues.
That, and I do like Comptiq, even though this could have given me a reason to check it out if I knew they did a good job putting quality control into both items. (^^;;
Besides… As much as I like Kagami, I am mixed about what I think about the Comp Ace figurine of her. So she will be a dispute at this time. (^^;;
