As mentioned earlier, 40th Anniversary‘s project of Hobby Japan magazine between Hobby Japan & Alter will make its first debut at Mega Hobby Expo 2009 ^^
The first 2 prototype figures of the characters from the series were on display at Hobby Japan’s booth ^^
1/8 scale Yagyu Jubei from Hyakka-Ryoran – No Price & Date.
1/8 scale Sanada Yukimura from Hyakka Ryoran – No Price & Date.
Looks like the protoype isn’t final yet. As you can see, It’s a pretty “rough” sculpt, especially Jubei ^^;
Others were also on display including a new character figure from Queen’s Blade Rebellion.

Yagyu Jubei…hhmmm I’ll keep an eye on her. I love the beauty of the fans on that 2nd figure but I don’t like that her leg is forward in the air, I would have prefered her attack pose to be a little different in the legs.

I don’t think I like Jubei…. totally off from the artwork, but I hope they changed it in the final product. The one in the artwork seems like a naughty ‘brat’ sort of girl, but this one seems like a normal quiet type looking girl. Maybe because of that ‘smirk’.
