This new 1/4 scale figure of “Izumi Konata Gym Suit Ver.” from Lucky Star, will be available this coming June 2009 by FREEing for 11,800 Yen retail price. Hobby Search is taking reservations for her as of today.
She’s standing at 30cm in height, and her price is kind of expected. Just like Kokonoe Rin, her Gym attire is made out of real fabric ( ^ _ ^ )

Oh man…I really really shouldn’t. The FREEing bunnies were expensive enough. Konata looks so cute though, and is it sad I want her more now that I know there will be a whole set?

Strage, when the preview pic was out FREEing had said she would be 35-37cm.
If Konata is 142cm 1/1 scale, then she should be 35.5cm in 1/4 scale.
Did they shrink her?

Weird, I measured my Konata figma and she’s 12.5cm
I found that pick of the 1/4 scale next to the figma konata and she’s 36cm worth of figma konata. (12.5+12.5+11)
I don’t get this..why are they saying she’s 300mm when she’s actually 360mm. If she IS 300mm, then they have to call her a no scale because it’s not adding up.
(For those who are wondering why I’m spending all this time figuring this out, I just am. I prefer smaller figures so if she actually IS smaller I’m gonna be much happier about it.)

The only thing I could think of is either they decided to reduce the size or it’s a typo ^^;
