K-on… Could it be the next Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu? o.O

Sankaku complex has posts discussing how similar they are. Including that the new Haruhi episodes are drawn much more like K-On, to Haruhi’s detriment, IMO.

I think it looks better than the Alter version, but need to wait for the painting to be sure.

I’m pretty happy with the Alter version. I should only buy more K-On figures if it’s of them in their outfits from the ending credits, but the paint job could change everything for me. If this had been a Kotobukiya US release though I surely would have gotten it.

Ah, their ED outfits, I can’t wait to see those figures. ^_^

Eh… the Alter ver looks much better in my opinion, dynamic pose, great work on the face, perfect sculpt on school uniform… If this Kotobukiya ver is under 60 USD & looks much better than what I currently think it will look like, then maybe it’d be a good buy haha

Is GSC planning on making a mio figure too? Cause if they are… maybe i should wait for them…! I know they would do a stunning job

Kinda wish this was a bigger size to distinguish it from the Alter version, but I like how she’s not using a pick here; that counts for a lot.

The other Mio that came out was a bit iffy to me I have a feeling that I’m the only one, everyone seems to be jumping at the chance to get her) but this one looks much nicer ❤ Thank you for the pics!

I personally think Alter’s version looks better than this one so far…

would like to see it painted if it is as good as the Alter version.

I don’t think the face matches Mio. Alter’s version is superior by far unless this one ends up looking way better painted.
