A preview scan featuring the upcoming figure of “Hatsune Miku” based on the new illustration by Tony Taka ^^
Not much info given, As you can see it was still a rough prototype, although my guess it’s most likely done by Max Factory.

Not sure if I want. I’ll have to see how she looks painted to decide if she’s worth getting. ^^

Nothing will beat GSC’s 1/8 Miku. π¦

Actually I’d rate Max’s last Miku far above GSC’s…Have to see if it worth getting this one as well too or not…

I own the GSC one, but I’d agree, I think the MF one is better. I don’t own the MF version because it was too similar to the GSC one I already owned for me to purchase guilt free.

Yay, more Miku figures!

Feels like it’s going to be leaning fast man.

I don’t see that many leaners these days. Even on dramatic one legged poses like this one.

Her back skirt very unnatural if I may say :p
And her hip like snapped so she can twist her self to the back side with that kind of position π

Really? Many people think Max Factory’s Miku was better than GSC’s… but I disagree! GSC’s had a very nice pose and the hair was superb… MF’s just had miku standing there(yes I know it was exactly like the illustration, but the illustration was simple!), and the twintails were just big blobs of plastic.
HOWEVER- Max Factory’s Miku VN02 is simply unbeatab- oh wait. GSC is making that Love is War Miku aren’t they? I stand corrected >.>
So… in my opinion, the war of the Miku’s is going on right now in the figure industry… in my opinion, GSC’s Love is War Miku is at top. Will Max Factory’s new Tony Taka Miku be comparable? We’ll have to wait for the colored version I guess!

Tony Taka’s designs are always so pretty (despite ecchi) though, so I’m looking forward to seeing this one painted!

I love almost anything Tony, but I don’t think his Miku is his best work. Still, it’ll be interesting to see where this goes when it’s finished. I do hope they do something about that base design, though.
I still think Volks has put out the best Miku to date.

I need to see this one painted before I decide, but I feel like I have too many Miku figures.
What’s with all the figures nowadays that only have 1 foot attached to the base?
