Shipments Will Be Delayed

eq

With the recent state of emergency because of the ongoing trouble and malfunctioning of some of Japan’s Nuclear Power Reactor caused by the Earthquake, TEPCO of Japan is introducing “Rolling Black Out” to conserve energy which will go on presumably until end of April.

Although Release date may not changed, Shipments will be affected because of the energy conservation and the condition/status of the Shipment services/company around Japan.

Max Factory’s “Hatsune Miku Tony Ver.” will hit stores and shipped as scheduled on March 16th, 2011.

from what I’m reading so far, there’s no delays in releases (so far) but there might be disruptions in the postal services with all the rotating blackouts or logistical inconveniences due to the quake+tsunami relief efforts… for example, they might prioritize delivery of relief goods and supplies first.

Certainly no problems with that, helping people is more important then toys. It seems weird everyone is going back to work though but I guess a total stop would hurt them just as much?

I guess they can’t stop working as the economy need to run since the world doesn’t wait for you. Hope that there will not be much death in this disaster. Toys can wait, most important is pray that there will be more survivor.

If by “shipments affected” you mean that products like nendoroids will take longer to get here, then yeah, that’s not really too big of a problem for me.

though if it means there may be fewer products than expected, then i might feel a little bummed if i don’t get one, however its an understandable issue so no biggy.

I personally wouldn’t mind at all since what happens in Japan have to take TOP priority. We’ll get our hands on the figures in the end anyways, so why not let it be delayed to help save more lives in Japan.

Hope everyone agrees with me πŸ™‚
