Figma Saber & Revoltech Saber Comparison

saber

Found this image over at Figure/GK, just after Figma Saber was released.

I like Figma Saber‘s face better than Revoltech’s, but that’s just my preference anyway ^^; I don’t own a Revoltech Saber, and my Figma Saber still on its way ^^;

    Well, Figma’s Saber IS better on looks than Revoltech’s, but never forget to consider that Revoltech’s is way older than Figma’s. Revoltech has learnt a lot since than and I consider their lasts Revoltech Frauleins better looking than lots of Figmas.

    However, there are other diferences. Jugding from pictures, it seems Figma’s joints are way less hard than Revoltech’s, which is better for “playing” around. However, Revoltech’s seems to be more stable.

    So I guess Figma’s is better for posing while Revoltech’s better for displaying, so it would only be a matter of tastes.

    ….however, I don’t own a Figma so I could be very, very VERY wrong.

    Well… Simple… F-I-G-M-A. Haha!

    I must disagree with Fychan… First point : Age. Yes, when Revoltech released their Saber, I would say they were quite “hatchlings” back then. But then, if you compare it to what they have now, it barely differs in figure-to-anime comparison. It still… well… looks different. Haha!

    Next point : joints. Actually, Revoltechs are easier to play around with because of their very limited poseability. And I mean VERY limited, compared to the Figma. You can count Revoltech’s articulation with, at most, 25. But with Figma, you won’t even bother counting! You’ll grow tired of counting! They’re quite stable too!

    I would say… If you’re into anime characters, go Figma! But if you’re for robots and mechas, go Revoltech!
