Alright~ Next review is this lovely figure of “Suzumiya Haruhi Gothic Lolita Ver.” by Griffon Enterprises ^^
This figure was released earlier on Mid-July 2008 and was delayed for quite a while. If I remembered correctly it was originally scheduled for April 2008 release ^^;
Anyway, this figure of Haruhi is also the first figure I ever owned that’s manufactured by Griffon Enterprises. I think this is the first Gothic Haruhi ever released, atleast the PVC ver. More coming with Mikuru and Yuki Gothic releases by Griffon Enterprises ^^
Back to topic~ Since this is my first ever figure by Griffon, I kind of have mixed feeling on how the figure going to turn out, but luckily this figure of Haruhi doesn’t disappoint me and I’m really impressed by it ^^ At 1/7 scale, she’s standing pretty high at 24.5 cm, and currently she’s the tallest among the figures I owned ^^;
The details on her Gothic dress is just amazing. They really put a lot of effort on it, which I think is the charm point of the figure. I kind of like her expression also ^^ Another nice thing about the figure is the base stand. The base stand has a Name Plate made on it, which really makes the figure like some important item~XD
I was expecting the figure to have some cast off-able, but guess not ^^;
On with the shots~!!

More close ups~
Pantsu~^^;
That ends my Gothic Haruhi review ^^ Can’t wait for Mikuru and Yuki~XD
As usual, more reviews is on the way. Look forward to them~ ( ^ _ ^ )/

That looks spectacular. I love the backdrop too, it really works with the figure well. Gawd that figure is just pure art. Oh, not sure why I hadn’t before but I finally got your blog on my blogroll now.

The main treat of this figure is of course her dress. But i don’t think i like this dress that much. I have a feeling that this dress doesn’t really fit Haruhi well.

I’m getting this figure at the end of the month! 24.5 cm- so high! I was debating on getting either this figure, or 3 figmas(eqivalent prices)… but know I KNOW that this is the one I wanna get. I can get the figmas later. 😀
The whole outfit is PVC right? It looks like fabric! The only thing I don’t like about this figure is that the shoes keep reminding me of McDonalds… but without the red, the colors wouldn’t be balanced. 😛
Haruhi looks amazing in ANYTHING! I want a figure company to make a long haired version of Haruhi!

@Blowfish
Yeah, actually they did quite a nice job with her. The only problem with Griffon is that they constantly delay their stuffs ^^;
@Persocom
Thx ^^
@Saku

@Uzumakiworld
Yep, all of them are made of PVC. Make sure you have enough space for her ^^

YES! SHE ARIVED IN THE MAIL ABOUT 10 MINUTES AGO!!! 😀 😀 😀 It arrived really fast- in 3 days. O_O
Omg though, the box was HEAVILY damaged. I swear- the box looked more like a potato than a rectangle. LUCKILY, Haruhi was safe and she looks AMAZING!
I put her right next to my comp- whenever a page is loading, I just look at her stunning details on her dress! I really like this one! She towers above my Chua Churam figure! The only thing is that her mouth is really shiney… I don’t know how to dull it down either. 😛 I like the base, but I have a glass table with lots of stuff underneath, so it covers up all my random otaku things. xD But it’s worth it!
Thanks for the review- it really helped me in deciding whether or not I should buy it! Arigato gozaimasu!
