Some breaking news were announced earlier to those who attended the press conference at Dentsu Singapore regarding the upcoming Anime Festival Asia 2008 event.
– Bandai, Alter, Good Smile Company, Kotobukiya, Kaiyodo, Organic, Revoltech, Max Factory will be part of the companies that will showcase their products, such as Figurines and Gunpla, at AFA08, including their past and future products and also some exclusive items. Of course, each company will have their own booth.
– Gunpla and Model Kits for the BAKUC 2008 (Singapore’s Annual Bandai Action Kits Universal Cup) will be there too. Other kits, toys and collectibles will be there as well.
– Free entry will be given to all participating cosplayers. Changing areas will also be provided during the event. For more details you can go here.

– Kunio Okawara –
He’s often said to be the mechanical designer of most of the Gundam series, Braves series, and many more. He will be judging the BAKUC Finals and giving talks about the industry.
No details on whether any autograph sessions would be allocated for Kunio-sensei.

The singing voice of Sheryl Nome from Macross Frontier will be performing a concert featuring songs from the series. The concert will be on the 2nd day of the event on November 23rd and a minimum of 7 songs will be performed.
No tickets needed for the concert, since it’s together with the entrance ticket, although there might be VIP tickets sold for the concert. No details on how to acquired them yet. There will be an autograph session also.
More details will be released as we get closer to the event.
Anime Festival Asia 2008 is a 2-day event from November 22nd, 2008 until November 23rd, 2008 at Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Center. Admission fee is needed at S$5 for 1 day ticket and S$8 for 2 days ticket.
