Next review is this super cute looking figure of “Nendoroid Pastel Ink” by Good Smile Company ^^
The figure was released earlier on August 11th, 2008 and is my 5th ever Nendoroid that I acquired ^^
A little bit of info on the character~
Pastel Ink is a character from the series Moetan. The character actually is a transformation result of a school girl named Nijihara Ink. Before the series was adapted into Anime in 2007, Moetan was originally an English learning material targeted toward Otaku that was published in 2003. Moetan stands for Methodology of English: The Academic Necessity. Original illustration of the series was all done by POP.
Since the purpose of the series was originally for consumers to learn English, there is a section at the end of every episodes of the Anime called “Moetan Corner”, where characters from the series will teach you English. You can view it below:
Surprised? It’s actually a fan made by combining with Maritan~XD
Nijihara Ink, together with Pastel Ink, was also later adapted into one of the character for the Queen’s Gate series ^^
Anyway, back to topic~
No doubt that this is one of the cutest Nendoroid GSC ever released. Currently I have 7 different Nendroids, and Ink is my 2nd favourite. 1st still goes to Nendoroid Hatsune Miku unfortunately ^^; Compared to other Nendoroids that I have, Ink actually have the most accessories, which is nice.
One thing that I like about Ink is her stand. Unlike the normal Nendoroid stand, in Ink’s case, you stick it from behind together with the ribbon which makes it really sturdy. Ink also comes with an additional stand so that you can combined her with the base stand from the 1/8 Scale PVC of Pastel Ink, also by GSC. Too bad I don’t have her ^^;
On with the usual shots~!!

Different faces~
More close ups~
That ends my Nendoroid Pastel Ink review ^^
As usual, more reviews one the way. Look forward to them~ ( ^ _ ^ )/

“Moetan stands for Methodology of English: The Academic Necessity.”
Oh, so the whole moetan corner at the end is not just some random corner where the producers chucked in. lol
