Max Factory updated their Figma Blog with a preview of their “Annual Year-End In-House Competition”, where staffs compete in making their own Figures, Diorama, etc ^^
The purpose of the competition is to give chances to the staffs that doesn’t have the time to create their “own” kit, for personal interest, because of work ^^;
Most of them are custom made Figma(s). Some of the entries includes:
Figma Fudo Yusei from Yugioh! 5D’s;
Figma Ulala from Space Channel 5;
Also, Figma Kemeko Iron Man Suit Ver.

Eventhough the staffs have created lots of figures, I don’t think they have the chance to create their own which are not work-related. Keep in mind that all of these figures are only made for the purpose of the competition and not related or included on any of their future releases ^^;
If I have to choose, my favourite is the Kemeko Iron Man~XD

If I had the time and the patience, I would make my own custom Figmas. But hey, I can dream, can’t I? *plots on how to make Vocaloid KAITO Figma*

How much you wanna bet the custom figmas are characters those staff members wish to see Figmatized?
I wish I had the time (and money) to customize a Figma too. I’d make a few of my original characters, as well as a few really obscure ones from my favorite webcomics, like Wren from White Noise. . . Alas, poor college students lack such free time and funds. 😦
