A preview scan from the latest issue of Hobby Japan magazine, featuring the upcoming 1/7 scale figure of “Hatsune Miku” from the Vocaloid series by Max Factory. The figure itself is scheduled for November 2009 release with no exact price yet.
Even Max Factory starting to go for more Miku madness, but I kind of like this version of Miku ( ^ _ ^ )

ooo 1/7? very nice. though would it have killed them to choose a pose that wasn’t so similar to gsc’s existing release? ^^;;

I like the face better than the GSC one but the hair looks gay.

It looks quite nice, but I already own the 1/8 GSC version. D:

Hair is to glossy for me

I don’t like her hair. Nor I like the face. GSC’s version seems much better to me in every aspect.

This design looks very similar to Sega version.

Is it really from Max Factory?

What the heck…they needed to do a more unique pose.

Seems to me that plastic material used for the hair is the same as the one they used for the shana figure. Don’t quite like it. Prefers GSC’s version.
And yes, the pose. Come to think of it, I really believe that Crypton restricted all figure makers to that pose. ^^”

The pose is so terrible… as is the face. Her clothes are nicely detailed, but that’s really the only thing good.

I like her, GSC’s version is made of cheap plastic, if you drop her she’ll explode into a thousand pieces.

I love the detail of her outfit. The hair is just way to glossy and the pose is way boring for my tastes! But still…the outfit is *amaaazing*. Hmm

GSC’s version is far better, no doubt about that.
Big mistake on Max Factory’s part to make it so similar to GSC’s version- now everyone will compare the two, and GSC comes on top every time.
The only thing I like about this version is that she’s a 1/7 scale. Max Factory, in my opinion, is awesome for their figmas… not their scaled figures.

[…] 1/8 release is pretty solid, though at the moment I wish I had a 1/7 ^^; (seems like Max Factory is working on […]

Her eyes look dead. Did Crypton restrict these guys to that pose or what? Not to mention it costs more of a bomb than GSC’s version.
