It’s been a while since the last time I did any reviews. With the addition of acquiring my new Nikon D90, I thought the time has come to get things rolling again. So, to start off is this Moe looking figure of “Louise Gothic Punk Ver.” by Alter ^^
This 1/8 scale figure of Louise from Zero no Tsukaima was released back in May 2009 by Alter, and probably one of the best looking figure of Louise that one should get. The design is based on the following illustration:
Standing at roughly around 20cm, the figure has really great quality of details and paint job. The combination of Maid uniform and Gothic accessories is something that you can’t missed on, although to tell the truth I can’t really see which part of her can be considered “Punk” ^^;
Not much extra stuffs given, just a typical base stand with the magic circle printed on it. Basically it’s readily displayed out of the box. What can I say, a must get for Zero no Tsukaima fans ^^
On with the shots~
(Right Click on Images, and choose “Open Image” for higher resolutions)
Close ups~
Love the ribbons~
The stocking and the boots really add that Moe-ness to the next level~
The obligatory Pantsu shot~
Lastly, with some effects done on Photoshop~
That ends my review on Louise ^^
I’ve decided that I will start to post between 2-3 reviews each week, starting this week, could be more depending on the free time I have. In the mean time this is my current plan. Look forward to next reviews~ ( ^ _ ^ )

My favourite Louise.
Could have been one of my favourite Goth/Goth Punk if it was less Maid.

Awwww she is too lovely. Not a fan of Louise really, prefer Siesta(? is that her name? The cute maid?) I’m sure if my brother watched Zero no Tsukaima he’d like Louise too. Since he’s a Shana fan.

2-3 reviews a week? That’s really impressive! I’ve been slacking on reviews myself.
The hair ribbons are my favorite part of that figure.

I haven’t really watched Zero no Tsukaima, but caught an ep at SDCC. This sculpt is truly indicative of Alter’s quality though, and if I was a fan on the series, I’d probably pick her up.
@meimi132: Yes, Siesta is the cute maid and I’m enamored with her too, mostly because I love that hairstyle ^^

Im no fan of Louise so I cant really say anything about it ^^;;;
I wondered about the “Punk” aswell and I guess the boots make her Punk?

I was tempted to get this.
I already have the bustier Louise from Alter.

Alter makes great figures and this is no exception.
I like how in the figure version her skirt isn’t lifted as high – which is a good thing in my opinion. However, I think all the ribbons in her hair is overdoing it a bit. =/
