Good Smile Company finally updated their Imitation Info Page with the addition of their new and upcoming 1/7 scale figure of “Saber Lily ~Distant Avalon” from Fate/Unlimited Codes.
This was actually already known for quite sometime already, but just to clarify more on the item, GSC have released more information on how you can identify the Fakes from the Original.
Left (Red) is Genuine and Right (Blue) is Fake:
Copyright of Approval & Good Smile Company Stickers.
Manufactoring Company Sticker at the back.
The print quality isn’t really good, plus the “yellowish” highlight on the overall print is really strong for the fake.
Different colour for the “Pin Connector” between the hand and sheath.
The angle of the head, plus the Fake have double eyelids (Not mentioned in the info page).
The availability of “Fate/Unlimited Codes” Emblem on the base stand.
Keep a look out peeps~!!

Anyway just a reminder, 1/7 scale figure of “Saber Lily ~Distant Avalon~” by Good Smile Company will be released in few days time…just look at the Warehouse!! Ready’n Packing!! ^^

Not surprising. Delays really mess with counterfeits, cause they release them anyway, so there’d been fake Saber Lily – Distant Avalon on eBay for a couple months now.
And damn, that’s a lot of figures in the warehouse 😀

But some stores in SG already have them… Legit ones =/

GSC should have the right to sue people who try to sell these, or a law should be made that if it’s a bootleg, it’s mandatory to put a sticker on it saying so.
It’s like putting a water label on a bottle of piss >=/

I must say that as fake goes that one is pretty well made.
Not that I’m going to buy it, had mine reserved from ages ago.

I ordered saber lily from otakufuel unfortunately… they are very reliable, but they ship about 2 months after the main release.
She’s worth the wait though 🙂

The King is coming, stand up ^_^
he-he, 3 weeks of postal send – and she will be Here, on my desk ))) At last good news, GSC %)

I had a fake Yuna once, when I stood her by the real thing she was also looking slightly downward. The fakes are ashamed of themselves!

Lol, yah looks like that.
But those become really better considering how some failed a few years back… http://blog.livedoor.jp/dqnplus/archives/811575.html
Considering the number of boxes in their warehouse GSC could do a guess-the-number of-lilys-Giveway, for folks like my who didn’t preorder her…

LOL! These almost look like parodies 😉

It seems pretty easy to tell the fakes apart; they don’t even have the hologram stickers on them.
The warehouse picture is pro, so many boxes filled with what I assume are the Saber Lilys.
September 29, 2009 at 2:26 pm |
AAAAAAAAAAnd it’s on sale! Finally.
September 29, 2009 at 5:27 pm |
I wouldn’t mind falling a great height, thinking that those boxes will break my fall, but only die cause all the awesome figures break my body. It would be an awesome death.

Wow holy shit at that warehouse lololol
