I think the 20% off is to combat AmiAmi.
Also, I looked at her, saw how cheap she is, and then looked at her some more… there’s not enough there, in the figure, it’s too plain, too skinny and bony, heh, for me to get excited over 😦
And I want something nice to spend money on.

Her pre-orders have been open for hours, same with the other ver of her, she’s just not as popular as most people think.

Actually, the original BRS is one of the most popular figures of all time. And her first batch lasted over a month. But she has been on the top 3 on the English Hobby Search rankings for that whole time.
Personally, the only figures I know that close pre-orders in less than 12 hours are nendoroids.
But BRS is definitely up there as a top selling figure.

Her order was open for a long time at AmiAmi (A bit over a month). This new one has been an open order for hours now. Anything Vocaloid closes within 20 minutes.

Black Rock Shooter doesn’t have anything to do with Vocaloid BTW.
But she’ll last.

I know BRS has nothing to do with vocaloid. it’s the only thing I follow, I was just comparing popularity.

The more I look at her the less I like her. Don’t get me wrong I think she looks great especially for that price but she lacks all the greatness the original had. I’m sure if I displayed her next to the original BRS she would pale in comparison. Now I’m starting to understand why some of the best figures usually range from $80-$100+.
I think I’ll get her for now but I might sell her if I’m not satisfied. And I’m not tempted to buy her at Amiami or Hobby Search. You know shipping is going to make her price jump. I rather buy her from a local store. 🙂

Hmm I think I might pass. I think she looks too much like the original. I wish they would’ve put her in a different pose or something.
