A preview image of the upcoming figure of “Asuka Langley Soryu Shunya Yamashita Ver.” from Evangelion by Yamato ^^
The figure is scheduled to be sold at Wonder Festival 2010 Winter event on Febuary 7th, 2010 at 11,000 Yen retail price. It’ll be sold as a Resin, although most likely it’ll get a PVC version soon as part of the Creator’s Labo series.
You will be able to order it Online later, but at higher price at 12,000 Yen.

I have not seen one Shunya figure that I hated so far. Even Daiki Kougyo did a good job on the style.

I need to wait and see the final, Yamato does work that’s either a hit or miss for me. I’m usually not willing to spend that amount on their products.

Do You Think Alter will release Asuka Langley Figure? Beacuse they produced Rei ayanami from 1.0 about a year and a half.

Possible ^^
As you can see Alter usually tend to release all of the characters from 1 series, or atleast most of them. For example is the Nanoha series, then To Heart2, and now you can see they are going for K-ON! and Strike Witches.
So maybe they’ll release Asuka in between since they already have Rei. Of course it’ll take time though since they need to see the popularity and sales of the 1st few figures they released from a series, before they continue and decided to release the next one ^^;
