Max Factory updated their Figma Blog with preview images of the upcoming “Figma Makinami Mari Illustrious Plug Suit Ver.” from Rebuild of Evangelion ^^
All the new upcoming Figma from the Rebuild of Evangelion series will introduced a new upper body neck joint, which allows the figure to lean forward.
Reservations will open June 1st, 2010.

I know she doesn’t have a waist joint, but goodness! The sculpt is so much more sharper than Revoltech’s and the accessories are simply superb.

That cockpit is awesome o.o; !! Too bad they dont finish the back part of the cockpit, it’s still cool though ^_^
I plan to get Figma Ayanami Rei, but I dont like how her shoulder look so broad and a little muscular in the figma’s version 😦 .. very strange since Figma Asuka and Figma Mari’s shoulder looks so normal and feminine >.>
I’m thinking of getting the Revoltech Fraulein Rei and put it in the figma’s cockpit, will she fit?

Most likely not.
I don’t have a Revoltech, but I think the scale is bigger than Figma ^^;
