The Black Rock Shooter francise is set to be adapted into an RPG game. No news on which platform yet, but the game is registered under the company that did Valkyria Chronicles 2 and Persona 3 & 4.

Hmmm the teaser looks interesting, but I just feel this is getting WAAAY too much now.
BRS has yet to show me some real amazing storyline that is living up to the hyp.

I agree; they are milking this BRS thing dry. Too much of a good thing is never a good thing.
Nonetheless, I don’t think they’ve hit the “dry” point just yet- and I am looking forward to this. And what’s with this “teaser”? Absolutely no substance was in this video either. We’ll wait and see i guess

How can you blame it for lacking substance when it’s…a teaser? What more could you expect? That’s what a teaser is supposed to do.
The BRS franchise is extremely successful because it’s going back to selling the toy/image with related media as the bonus. It goes back to the days of how Atom Boy became popular: stickers then BOOM! You see manga, anime, etc.
So what’s important about BRS is not the storyline or anime at all. It comes second to the actual character.
By the way, how could this game be developed by Atlus AND Sega? You mentioned Persona and Valkyria Chronicles but they’re made by totally different companies. If it’s worked on by Atlus then we can easily see something very Persona-esque which I would have no complaints about.

Nevermind, the game is not developed per se by either Atlus or Sega but registered under Ryu’s Office which handled VC and Persona 3 and 4.
