This new 1/7 scale figure of “Blanc Neige Swimsuit Ver.” from Shining Wind, will be available this coming July 2011 by Kotobukiya for 6,800 Yen retail price. Hobby Search is taking reservations for her as of today.

Does anyone know whether this new 1/7 scale figure of “Blanc Neige Swimsuit Ver.” from Shining Wind may be a continuation of the original 4 figures from the Max Factory collection released last year? the quality looks equally as good, are Kotobukiya part of Max Factory? Do they release projects togther? It would be good to know, wouldn’t wish to purchase this fine figure only to discover Max Factory will be extending their Shining Wind swimsuit collection to including this character!!!

Kotobukiya and Max Factory is 2 different companies, not related to each other. As far as for Shining series, current projects are taken by Kotobukiya and Max Factory (Kotobukiya is usually the main company for Shining series). Orchid Seed is starting to release 1/7 scale Shining figures also with Blanc Neige and Kureha coming.
As for the Swimsuit series, I don’t think Max Factory is going release anymore because originally they are only going to release 4 figures. So yeah, you can assume that Blanc Neige is the continuation of the series.
