This new 1/8 scale figure of “Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke” from Strike Witches, will be available this coming September 2011 by Alter for 7,800 Yen retail price. Hobby Search is taking reservations for her as of today.
Maybe it’s just me, but she looks a bit “plain” compared to other releases. My guess is the pose.

I think you’re right about the pose. She doesn’t look as dynamic as the other ones.

the pose is flat and her weight distribution is even. that’s probably why it’s not as eye catching. the sculpt is pretty good though.

I’m still wondering about this. This figure from Alter says it’s from Strike Witches 2. Miyafuji, Sanya and Charlotte says it’s from Strike Witches. What’s the difference? Are they making a different set even though they haven’t finished the current set? Should I get this one or wait for the one from Strike Witches (if there is one). And the new Eila Ilmatar Juutilainen from Alter come out in February. Sakamoto Mio come out in December. And the Minna came out in September. Should I get it? The help would be much appreciated.

All the Strike Witches figures from Alter are from the same set, so you dont have to worry of any differences. The figures are pretty much from “Strike Witches” series.
The reason they changed to “Strike Witches 2” is most likely because it’s the latest from the series and to boost the sales. With “2” people will get the impression that it’s “new”, rather than “outdated”. If they do released a different version, there will most likely be a “Something Ver.” in the product name.
So no worries there ^^

Ok thank you very much. That’s all i wanted to know. But i didn’t buy it because of that so now i need to find it somewhere. That or wait for the one that comes out in December.
