FREEing’s Racing Miku 2012 Reservation Starts!!

This new 1/7 scale figure of “Racing Miku 2012 Ver.” from Good Smile Racing, will be available this coming June 2013 by FREEing for 12,800 Yen retail price. Hobby Search is taking reservations for her as of today.

A bit unusual for GSC to give other company to do Racing Miku, seeing past Racing Miku(s) is by GSC.

Personally I believe the problem with this figurine is the row of white teeth. From the above advertising shots with the camera zoomed out with the teeth barely visible, it looks quite fine, seeing the rest of the figurine are all of the usual Miku high quality.

But once it’s zoomed in, such as:

The face starts looking dumb…

  My problem is the pidgeon toed “brokeback” pose. It looks ridicolous.

According to Mikatan’s blog,
「ちなみにグッスマからも１/８スケールのレーミクさんの発売を予定しておりますぞー！」

GSC is releasing their own 1/8 version of Racing Miku 2012, it seems.

  Yeah, they’re going to release their own version. Still, it’s a bit unusual lol~
  
  I thought GSC would monopolized the scale release of “Racing Miku”, seeing it’s also the mascot of their “Good Smile Racing” brand too.
