A new Collaboration Project series between Alter and Hobby Japan is in the work to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Hobby Japan Magazine ^^
The title of the project is called “Hyakka-Ryoran” or “Samurai Girls” where they will featured names from famous Japanese warriors, in their “2D Girl” form ^^;
So far the characters are:
1. Yagyu Jubei
2. Senhime
3. Hanzo Hattori
4. Sanada Yukimura
All character designs will be done by none other than Niθ, which name should be familiar to you guys (Demonbane, Blassreiter, Jingai Makyo, and other Nitro+ games).
There will be 2 different items and goods which will be released based on this new series, a Novel (I think) which will be published on March 2009 by Hobby Japan, and lastly is a Figure lineup of the characters, which will be done by Alter ^^

The project will make its first debut appearance with the prototype of Yagyu Jubei (Above Character) on display at this coming Mega Hobby Expo 2009 event on Febuary 11th, 2009. You can visit the Official Site of the series for more info, although it’s just a Slideshow for now. Above scan is from the latest issue of Hobby Japan magazine.
Via Figure/GK, additional information from Hobby-Channel.
Hmmm, looking forward to this. What makes me more excited is that Niθ and Alter is in it. Always love their works ( ^ _ ^ )

Is this going to be one of those things you can only order through the magazine or will it be a normal type release?

It better be stuff we can order through normal routes. And Alter better not come up with too many I want. -_-
I already see a “Senhime” in there. Dammit.

I really like the outfit on the one in the top-right corner. I can’t wait to see what she looks like as a figure.

@Super Rats
No information on that yet, but since it has to do with Hobby Japan magazine, most likely it’ll be exclusives.
We can always hope ^^;
