“Cosplay @ STGCC” is a cosplay competition that took place on Day 2 of Singapore Toy, Game, and Comic Convention 2011 on August 21st, 2011.
The competition is the last main stage event for STGCC 2011. I don’t know if previous STGCC events also hold cosplay competitions, but this year’s format is similar to AFA 2009. Cosplayers from all over South East Asia came and compete representing countries from Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, and Malaysia. The only difference is that it’s an individual competition, unlike AFA which was a group competition.
There are 6 judges for the competition. Both Kipi and Jacky Dosai is also back as part of the judges.
Kipi cosplaying as Homura from Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
Jacky as Ozma Lee from Macross Frontier.
There is a total of 8 cosplayes for the competition and will be list out in order of appearance. Let the photos do the talking~

Kairei as Baby Doll from Sucker Punch, representing Indonesia.
Weiqi as Cybuster from Super Robot Wars, representing Malaysia.
Nikki as Dark Akantor from Monster Hunter, representing Philippines.
Kawaimace as Sara Pezzini from Witch Blade, representing Philippines.
Yuki as Rocket from Sucker Punch, representing Indonesia.
Roy as War Machine from Iron Man 2, representing Singapore.
Zoey as Valsione from Super Robot Wars, representing Malaysia.
Zander as Rathian Gunner from Monster Hunter, representing Singapore.
After that, all contestant and the judges went on stage to announce the results and winners.
1st place prize is S$1,000, Runner-up is S$500, and 6 consolation prizes worth S$100.
It falls between Zander and Roy that is going to be the Champion. Lance Fensterman is handing out the prize.
…and the winner goes to War Machine!!
There are also special prizes by Jackie and Kipi.
Kawaimace won a signed Cosmode magazine from Jacky.
Nikki gets the Special Prize from Kipi, a set of cosplay costume of Suzumiya Haruhi which was used by Kipi.
This part is funny, because when she was asked on what prize she will be giving, Kipi asked if she can take off her clothes~
Everyone just went nuts, although nothing much. She took out the prize from under her costume though~XD
After that it’s time for the group photos~
…and the event pretty much ended after that.
After the competition ended, Kipi asked Zander if she can borrow the bow gun.
..and then it’s time for some final photo shoot out of Kipi and Zander.
That pretty much ends my STGCC 2011 coverage. Definitely looking forward to next year~

ah i was there ^^ i really liked kipi playful side, she is so thin that she can hides the clothes without us noticing
