This new 1/8 scale figure of “Nogizaka Haruka” from Haruka Nogizaka’s Secret, will be available this coming September 2008 by Toys Works. There will be 2 versions that’s going to be released, Normal and Limited edition Honny Lemon Ver. (Bottom Image). Both will be retailing at the same price at 6,400 Yen each. Hobby Search is taking pre-orders for both of them as of today.

Unfortunately, Figma Nagato Yuki Concert Ver. which was announced earlier is actually part of Max Factory‘s Wonfest exclusive items which are going to be sold, and only, during this coming Wonder Festival 2008 Summer on August 3rd, 2008.
I have another bad news to add also, and just HOPE that I’m wrong. This version of Figma Nagato Yuki will not be part of the special online pre-order session after Wonfest ended, just like the last Wonfest 2008 Winter. Instead, you can only order her during the event and at the event itself for the September 2008 release of the figure.
The good news is that the other exclusive items are still part of the special online pre-orders session, which is going to take place around mid-august, just after Wonfest ended.
But still….arrggghhhh!! I so want that Yuki!! ( > _ < );

I’ve decided to do “Elwing 1/8 Scale”‘s review 1st, since she’s quite easy to do a review on ^^;
Anyway, Elwing was released not long ago, atleast officially, on June 18th, 2008. To tell the truth, I can’t really keep up with Elwing’s release date~XD Originally she was scheduled for June 24th release, and then all of a sudden, I saw a post that someone already gotten her on the 12th ( > _ < ); So yeah, quite confusing ^^;
Elwing is my 2nd Kotobukiya figure and also the 1st of Kotobukiya’s Shining series figure that I have. I think Elwing is the 5th to be released from the series. My first impression of the figure is…Wow~XD I can assure you that the figure itself is much-much better than those preview images that you saw on the net. The sculpting and the paint job is amazing, and I personally like the “Wings” on her head. They’re skillfully sculpted.
The skirt can be casted off, and the figure also comes with her Bow.
Just some warning. Please be careful when handling her Bow. The Bow String is made out of a Super Thin String-Like Plastic. I almost snapped the string when taking it out of the box ( > _ < ); Also, the figure itself is already screwed to the base stand. So be careful when removing her from the box.

Hefty price, but considering the material and scale used, I guess it’s natural ^^; Beautiful figure though ^^

A preview of the upcoming 1/Infinity scale figure of “Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann”, scheduled for 2008 release by Volks. It’s made out of Resin Material and standing at 33cm height, and will be up at a whoopin’ price of 39,900 Yen!!
The price is a killer!! ( > _ < ); What makes it funny is the scale they put for it~XD Normal Scale is bigger than the Universe alright~XD
Sumaga or “Star Mine Girl” is the title of Nitro+‘s new Eroge scheduled for release this year. A campaign was done to promote the release of the game, and one of them is by releasing this series of figures, featuring the 3 main heroines from the game.

A first look of the upcoming 1/5 scale figure of “Minamoto Chizuru” by 4-Leaves ^^ Looks like there will be 2 versions, one is the Human form, and the other is the Fox form. They’ll be up for a whoopin’ price of 13,440 Yen and is scheduled for October 2008 release.
Hmmmm, expensive alright ( > _ < ); but I personally prefer the Fox version~( ^ _ ^ );
