This new 1/8 scale figure of “Sanzenin Nagi” from Hayate the Combat Butler series, will be available this coming July 2008 by Taki Corporation, and will be retailing for 3,980 Yen. Hobby Search is taking pre-orders for her as of today.

This is the 3rd Hayate figure to be released by Taki Corp, with Maria and Hinagiku as 1st and 2nd. Quite cheap even for a 1/8 scale figure. Maybe because she’s short~( ^ _ ^ );

Another amazing entry by Alter is finally ready for reservations ^^

This new 1/7 scale figure of “Yagami Hayate” from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, is scheduled for October 2008 release by Alter, and will be retailing for 9,800 Yen. Hobby Search is taking reservations for her as of today.

I know that the price is a little bit high, but this is probably the best looking Hayate I ever seen. I mean was there even a Hayate figure out there?~XD The figure even comes with a Mini-Reinforce Zwei ^^ You can even switch Hayate to Unison mode ^^

This figure was first shown during Wonder Festival 2008 Winter, but was still unpainted at that time. Anyway, any Nanoha fans should get this~( ^ _ ^ )/

Nendoroid Petit version of the two? Although looking at it might not be from the Nendoroid series either. No oversized head and stuffs. Nevertheless they’re cute!!!

I don’t know why, but I have the feeling that these might be Wonfest 2008 exclusive…just hope not ( > _ < );

This new 1/5 scale figure of “SIF EX Yuria Type100” from Yuria Type100 series, will be available this coming September 2008 by Yamato, and will be retailing for 7,800 Yen. Hobby Search is taking reservation for her as of today.

I think I saw this during Wonder Hobby Festival 2008 Final ^^; Looks like a nice sculpt, although I won’t be getting her~( ^ _ ^ );

The release of Kotobukiya‘s upcoming figure of “Lion Magnus” from Tales of Destiny series has been suspended. The reason was because of the social effects of the recent Akihabara Stabbing incident. All orders has been cancelled and already been removed from most online stores.

Kotobukiya’s Statement:

Taking into account the social effects of the recent deadly incident in Akihabara, we have decided to voluntarily cancel the upcoming release of “Tales of Destiny – Leon Magnus” for the time being.

I remember Good Smile Company showing us that they will be releasing Nendoroid Shana in the future, but it was only the illustration image. I think it was during Wonder Festival 2008 Winter. Looks like the wait is over ^^

Looking at the final product (on the right), looks like it’s going to be a Petit version. The bad news, is that it’ll only come with the DVD release of “Shakugan no Shana 2nd” on August 25th, 2008.

The good news, looks like GSC going to release another version of Nendoroid Shana for September 2008 release, as you can see on the image on the left ^^ Looking forward to this one~( ^ _ ^ )/

Finally, this new 1/8 scale figure of “Kureha President Japan Ver.” from Shining series, will be available this coming September 2008 by President Japan, and will be retailing for 7,800 Yen. Hobby Search is taking reservations for her as of today.

If I recalled correctly, I think this was first shown during Wonder Festival 2008 Winter. There has been a few nice Kureha figures out there, and this is no exception either. A must get for Shining series collectors. Really like the pose on this version~( ^ _ ^ )/

This new 1/6 scale figure of “Sonsaku Hakufu School Swimsuit Ver.” from Ikkitousen series, will be available this coming August 2008 by Griffon Enterprises, and will be retailing for 6,500 Yen. Hobby Search is taking reservations for her as of today.

Maybe it’s just me, but Griffon’s figure sculpting is definitely getting better and better, atleast by looking from all the previews ^^; I think ever since they announced Kanu Nekomimi Ver. that their Ikkitousen figures is really going up the levels~( ^ _ ^ );

Anyway, we still have to wait for their final products~^^;

This new 1/7 scale figure of “Kan’u Unchou China Dress Ver. -Limited Edition Exchange Colours-“, will be available shortly this coming Late June 2008 by Sol International, and will be retailing for 8,800 Yen. Hobby Search is taking pre-orders for her as of today.

I think I saw this figure during Wonder Fesival 2008 Winter. Something just not right with the figure…I think it’s the pose. She looks awkward in that pose.

I can’t really read what’s written on the poster but…could it be?

If you have followed Shuraki figures and have collected all or atleast some of them, you will notice from the Drama CD and Illustration Booklet that there’s actually a total of 7 female fighters in the series. As we know, 5 of them were already out; Akatsuki, Meifeng, Char, Needa, and Rize.

The other 2 are Mizuchi Towako (Voiced by Mizuki Nana), a Miko with a leaf-like Steel Fan weapon, and Monica (Voiced by Kadowaki Mai), a Gothloli with a big sword as weapon.

The one shown on the image above is Monica.

So…is there any chances that they’ve decided to add the other 2 and give them the figure treatment? Well, it’s just a speculation ^^; For me, I would love to~XD

Maybe GSC gonna surprised us during this coming Wonder Festival 2008~XD

Finally, we’ve reached the final review of Shuraki series figure, well atleast the one I have right now ^^; This time it’s “Shuraki Trinity Box #05: Rizfis Luttiva Mente” from Good Smile Company ^^

This will be another 2-part review ^^;

Rizfis Luttiva Mente, also known as Rize, is the 5th and Final release of the Shuraki figure series, and also the 4th that I owned ^^; She was released not long ago on May 29th, 2008, and was originally scheduled for April 2008 release.

A little bit of info on the character~ Rize is a 19-year old Italian-born Halberdier that is specialized in close combat battle. She used a long dual-headed Halberd as her weapon and also a member of the secret White Raven organization ^^ She’s designed by Takumi Yano. I can’t really find a better info on him, but supposedly he’s part of the Sakura Wars artists. All I can say is, he has one of the nicest looking character design ever~

Just like any Shuraki figures, she comes with the Character Illustration Booklet “Shuraki Secret File Vol.5: Rizfis” and a Drama CD. In the Drama CD she’s voiced by Shintani Ryoko, who’s known for voicing Sakuraba Milfeulle in Galaxy Angel series. As for the other voice actresses and actors, basically the CD will features all the voices from the past Shuraki Drama CDs, since Rize’s CD is the final installment of the Shuraki story ^^

The figure comes with interchangable Battle Damaged version of the dress, in which you can switch around, and also a custom Diorama base stand ^^ She probably got the best looking Base Stand out of the Shurakis~

As usual, another amazing sculpt by GSC. Another amazing highlight of Rize is probably the “Crystal Blue” skirt. It got some weight in it like a freakin’ shell hard as hell ( > _ < ); It’s probably made out of ABS material. With Rize, now I have 4 Shuraki figures with Char as the final Shuraki figure to get. Unfortunately, I have to wait for GSC’s announcement on the “Re-release” version of Char. Probably soon…hopefully ( > _ < );

This new 1/8 Scale figure of “Xecty S.O.F.T” from Shining Wind series, will be available this coming September 2008 by Wave, and will be retailing for 6,500 Yen. There will be 2 versions released. One is the Normal version, and the other is Limited version.

There isn’t any difference in the limited version, in terms of colours or any, but it’ll come with a Limited Telephone Card that has the original Xecty art by Tony Taka printed on it, in which you can view it below:

The limited version is retailing at a higher price, at 7,500 Yen. Hobby Search is taking reservations for both as of today.

This new 1/8 scale figure of “Yoko Space Look Ver.” from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann series, will be available this coming October 2008 by Wave, and will be retailing for 6,600 Yen.

There will be 2 versions released, one is the Normal version and the other is the Limited version. Top image is the Limited version. Hobby Search is taking reservations for both versions as of today.

I don’t know about you guys, but this is probably one of the best looking Yoko I’ve seen, atleast for the matured one~ I like the limited version better ( ^ _ ^ )/

Bad news for those who ordered Griffon’s Shana.

Griffon Enterprises‘ “Shana 1/7 Scale” has been delayed to August 2008 release from its orginal release date. This figure was originally scheduled for June 2008 release.

A new alteration of the previous released “Saber Alter” by Solid Theater, is going to be sold during this coming Wonder Festival 2008 (Summer) in August, hence it’s another Wonder Festival exclusive ^^

This new limited “Saber Alter WF2008 Ver.” (As what I would call it ^^ ) will be up for 6,800 Yen. More images of this at Solid Theater Site

This version is definitely less scarier than the normal version~XD And she looks more matured on this~ Great looking figure, although it’s another WF exclusive~( ^ _ ^ );

Kotobukiya posted the sample Box Art preview of the upcoming “Clalaclan Noir Ver.”, which are scheduled for September 2008, at their Blog
