It’s a Trap!! Part Deux

May 6, 2008

A little bit different than the previous one this time ^^; Another interesting and funny show from Japan ^^

This time they bring 3 transexuals straight from Thailand (Blue), and 3 chosen Japanese actors/comedian (Red) will try and compete against them. There will be 3 rounds, 3 vs 3, and 7 People will judge who, out of the 2 from each round, is the cutest/prettiest.

Just for the info, those 3 guests from Thailand are the winner from some Beauty pageant. So basically they are what you call the best :p You can view the clip below:

It’s a Trap!!

May 1, 2008

So I just watched this one clip episode of Japanese TV program called “Girl’s Paradise”. The purpose of the program…is to dress a male as a female ( > _ < );

Basically what they did is they chose selected High Schooler boys and dress them as a girl, and see which one is the prettiest and the cutest. This is the latest episode which was aired few days ago, a total of 6 participants. You can view them below. A word of warning…They are all boys!!

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

I know they are all guys…but the level is just too high!! The last one is just…I don’t know what to say…you just have to see it yourself!! ( > _ < )!!

Otaku World

April 27, 2008

If you are new to the Otaku world, there are actually variety of “Otaku” and they are divided into different categories, according to their interest. Such as Figure Otaku, Game Otaku, Idol Otaku, Seiyuu Otaku, Doll Otaku, Anime Otaku, etc.

I just found this interesting video clip or documentary on Otakus on Youtube ^^ Basically we get to see a closer look on what these certain Otakus did on their free time, and even a visit to their house ^^

You can view them below:

Figure Otaku

Comment: Amazing room ^^;

Idol (Gravure) Otaku

Comment: Looks like a tiring hobby ( > _ < );

Seiyuu Otaku

Comment: This one is rather special, because he gets to go on a “date” with his favourite seiyuu, which is Shimizu Ai ^^;

There are more, but this should be enough ^^; I’ll post more in the future, enjoy!! ( ^ _ ^ )/

What if…

Shokotan Goes Bruce Lee!! Waataa!!

April 12, 2008

Saw this the other day on Youtube~XD It’s a clip from a show (I think), featuring Nakagawa Shouko, also known as Shokotan, doing a skit where she stars as a Female-like Bruce Lee ^^; If you didn’t know, Shokotan is a big fan of Bruce Lee and also one big Otaku :p You can watch the clip below:

I have to say, she can really use the Nunchakus pretty well ( + _ + );

Another Celebration

April 10, 2008

I woke up this morning, and found out that my blog exceeded 10,000 hits ( > _ < )v Well to tell the truth I didn’t expect to reach 5 digits this soon ( > o < )/ It might not be something spectacular for some of you, but after just a little over 3 months time, this really a new milestone for me, and it all thanks to you guys!! ^^

I just want to thank for all the supports and for those who took their time to visit my blog all this time, even if it’s just by accident or coincidence ~m( _  _ )m~

This just gave me more motivation to keep improving my blog and make it better ^^

To celebrate, here’s a song which I just got recently. It’s the OP song of the PC game by Nitro+ called “Kishin Hishou Demonbane”, titled “Rise On Green Wings” sang by Itou Kanako of Ethereal Echo ^^

Kids Prodigy

March 31, 2008

This one is actually pretty old. Saw this on Youtube the other day and was amazed with what these kids can do. This “Kids Band” consist of four kids with the eldest 10 years old, and 5 years old the youngest. Ironically, the youngest one is the drummer :p, and he can really kick some butt~XD Watch him do some solo play~XD The band called is “Ruri-Chan’s Band”. You can view the video below:

All I can say is…Superb!! ( ^ o ^ )/

Let’s Airjoy!!

March 26, 2008

I’ve seen lots of “Air Band”, and this is probably one of the funniest I’ve seen ^^ This time it features one of my favourite song by Queen, “Don’t Stop Me Now”.

The video is done by a group of high school baseball club members, consisting of 4 people ^^; I’ll tell you these guys are geniuses~ XD The video was shown in a Japanese TV program.

Anyway, you can enjoy the video below:

Maybe I can gather my friends to do this~ XD

Stop Motion Video

March 15, 2008

I’ve been following his work on Stop Motion video ever since last year, and I have to say, he’s probably got the best one I’ve ever seen ^^ Goes with the account name “Plamoo”, you can view the rest of his video at Youtube Here.

What makes his video interesting is that he used action figures and Gunpla to do it. He did lots of parodies. I know there are lots of Stop Motion video posted on Youtube using these stuffs, but they are nothing compared to his work. Creating a Stop Motion video is quite tideous and requires the skill and patience to do it, and this guy definitely got all of them. Overtime, you can see that he developed new technique and effects to enhance his video ^^

Anyway, his latest video features “Figma Nagato Yuki” ^^ You can view it below:

Others include “Motteke!! Sailor Fuku” dance:

And “Hare Hare Yukai” dance:

Too awesome for words ( ^ _ ^ )/

Aftermath Of Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone

March 13, 2008

eva

So, I just came back from watching “Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone” few minutes ago, and my impression of the movie is…SUPERB!!! It’s worth my time watching it. Watched the 7.15 PM slot and was sitting 2nd row from the front. It was almost full house, but……………there’s one most disappointing part when I watched it. They bloody cut out the trailer for the 2nd movie after the credits ended!!! ( > _ < ) and they can’t even cut it out properly. After the credits ended we can still hear the naration. It went like “In the next…!” then the screen went black. The whole cinema went nuts after that lol.

Anyway, putting aside the trailer removal, the movie was really great. Basically it covers the 1st 6 episodes of the TV series with NERV defeating the 1st three Angels and it ends after. The first half of the movie used most of the original TV series scenes with some animation improvement, but the best part is the 2nd half of it. The 2nd half of the movie is a total remake and you can really see the difference compared to the 1st half.

The animation quality, 3D effects, cell-shading, etc was awesome. It covers the part where Shinji fought the 6th “Cube” Angel. I won’t really say much, but I really like how they “recreate” the 6th Angel and make it really powerful. It can shapeshifts and has some new abilities that was never shown in the TV series before. Anyway it was a blast!!

After watching it, I really can’t wait for the 2nd movie ^^ If only they didn’t remove the “Evangelion: 2.0” trailer ( = _ = )

Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone

March 12, 2008

evangelion

Sometimes, I’m just glad I’m in Singapore right now, because the movie “Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone” will start its screening tomorrow on 13th March 2008 ^^ I’m really looking forward to the movie, ever since I heard the news about it like 3 weeks ago ^^

Planning to go watch it tomorrow evening after my classes ended, together with my classmates ( ^ _ ^ )/ I heard the movie is a total remake of the original TV series, with alternate storytelling. The 1st movie will cover the 1st 6 episodes of the series, and a total of 6 movies is in the making!! ( > _ < )

So are you going to watch it, for those who are currently in Singapore or is there any screening of it in your country? ( ‘ _ ‘ )/

Lucky☆Star Casts Went to Worship at Washinomiya Shrine

February 19, 2008

This was actually back in December 2007, when the Seiyuus of Tsukasa, Kagami, Shiraishi, and Akira went to Washinomiya Shrine to worship. If you didn’t know, Washinomiya Shrine is the real and actual shrine used in the anime that the Hiiragi Sisters went to as Miko (Shrine Maiden). It also the cause of the Otaku boom around the shrine, when people started to write stuffs like “Konata is my wife”, which was also mentioned in the anime. This actually got the attention of the news.

Quite funny, but too bad no Hirano Aya ^^;
