A first look on the Prototype of Nendoroid Shana, coming this September 2008 by Good Smile Company and will be retailing for 3,000 Yen ^^

Looking at it, reservations will start on July 26th, 2007…if I’m not mistaken ( ^ _ ^ );

A new scan was just up, showing a preview of the upcoming Figma Hiragi Tsukasa and Kagami from the Lucky Star line up by Max Factory ^^ Both are scheduled for August 2008 release.

Also, a first look of the new Figma Nagato Yuki Concert Ver. scheduled for this coming September 2008.

As promised, here it is, the review for “Figma Takamachi Nanoha Barrier Jacket Ver.” by Max Factory ^^

Figma Nanoha was released earlier last month on May 24th, 2008, and is my 4th Figma figure that I acquired. Well, just like previous Figma releases, she’s another great Figma figure to collect. The joints are solid for posing, which makes her really easy to do some extreme posing.

Although there are some problems with the figure. I don’t know if these applied to you guys (those who already owned Figma Nanoha), but the front hair keeps falling off, and can’t keep a firm hold of it. The hands are also quite difficult and hard to replace.

As for accessories, You get the usual 4 extra pair of hands, 1 extra Face & Hair, and also an extra Raising Heart Buster Mode, in which you can switch around. It also comes with 1 pair of “Axel Fins”, which then you can equipped it under her feet.

Paint job and details were still great, even for an action figure. Either way, Figma is still worth getting ^^

Well all I can say is…I hate you GSC!!!!! ( > _ < ); Gah, they can be so cruel aren’t they T-T

Just hope that there will be another special pre-order session for these, just like what they did with Figma Konata and the Nendoroid >_<

So, another surprised exclusive product for the upcoming Wonder Festival 2008 Summer is finally revealed, and the company is none other than Max Factory~

This new Figma figure of “Figma.BP Kururugi Suzaku” from the anime series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 will be available this coming August 3rd, 2008 during Wonder Festival 2008 Summer. It’ll be up for 2,500 Yen.

This new 1/7 scale figure of “Takami Rin” from the Lyrical Lyric series, will be available this coming September 2008 by Solid Theater, and will be retailing for 6,000 Yen. Hobby Search is taking pre-orders for her as of today.

Never heard of the series, but looks like an eroge series to me ^^; Still, Nice looking figure though. Her swimsuit can also be casted off, if you guys wondering~( ^ _ ^ );

This new 1/8 scale figure of “Sanzenin Nagi” from Hayate the Combat Butler series, will be available this coming July 2008 by Taki Corporation, and will be retailing for 3,980 Yen. Hobby Search is taking pre-orders for her as of today.

This is the 3rd Hayate figure to be released by Taki Corp, with Maria and Hinagiku as 1st and 2nd. Quite cheap even for a 1/8 scale figure. Maybe because she’s short~( ^ _ ^ );

Another amazing entry by Alter is finally ready for reservations ^^

This new 1/7 scale figure of “Yagami Hayate” from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, is scheduled for October 2008 release by Alter, and will be retailing for 9,800 Yen. Hobby Search is taking reservations for her as of today.

I know that the price is a little bit high, but this is probably the best looking Hayate I ever seen. I mean was there even a Hayate figure out there?~XD The figure even comes with a Mini-Reinforce Zwei ^^ You can even switch Hayate to Unison mode ^^

This figure was first shown during Wonder Festival 2008 Winter, but was still unpainted at that time. Anyway, any Nanoha fans should get this~( ^ _ ^ )/

Nendoroid Petit version of the two? Although looking at it might not be from the Nendoroid series either. No oversized head and stuffs. Nevertheless they’re cute!!!

I don’t know why, but I have the feeling that these might be Wonfest 2008 exclusive…just hope not ( > _ < );

This new 1/5 scale figure of “SIF EX Yuria Type100” from Yuria Type100 series, will be available this coming September 2008 by Yamato, and will be retailing for 7,800 Yen. Hobby Search is taking reservation for her as of today.

I think I saw this during Wonder Hobby Festival 2008 Final ^^; Looks like a nice sculpt, although I won’t be getting her~( ^ _ ^ );

The release of Kotobukiya‘s upcoming figure of “Lion Magnus” from Tales of Destiny series has been suspended. The reason was because of the social effects of the recent Akihabara Stabbing incident. All orders has been cancelled and already been removed from most online stores.

Kotobukiya’s Statement:

Taking into account the social effects of the recent deadly incident in Akihabara, we have decided to voluntarily cancel the upcoming release of “Tales of Destiny – Leon Magnus” for the time being.

I remember Good Smile Company showing us that they will be releasing Nendoroid Shana in the future, but it was only the illustration image. I think it was during Wonder Festival 2008 Winter. Looks like the wait is over ^^

Looking at the final product (on the right), looks like it’s going to be a Petit version. The bad news, is that it’ll only come with the DVD release of “Shakugan no Shana 2nd” on August 25th, 2008.

The good news, looks like GSC going to release another version of Nendoroid Shana for September 2008 release, as you can see on the image on the left ^^ Looking forward to this one~( ^ _ ^ )/

Finally, this new 1/8 scale figure of “Kureha President Japan Ver.” from Shining series, will be available this coming September 2008 by President Japan, and will be retailing for 7,800 Yen. Hobby Search is taking reservations for her as of today.

If I recalled correctly, I think this was first shown during Wonder Festival 2008 Winter. There has been a few nice Kureha figures out there, and this is no exception either. A must get for Shining series collectors. Really like the pose on this version~( ^ _ ^ )/

This new 1/6 scale figure of “Sonsaku Hakufu School Swimsuit Ver.” from Ikkitousen series, will be available this coming August 2008 by Griffon Enterprises, and will be retailing for 6,500 Yen. Hobby Search is taking reservations for her as of today.

Maybe it’s just me, but Griffon’s figure sculpting is definitely getting better and better, atleast by looking from all the previews ^^; I think ever since they announced Kanu Nekomimi Ver. that their Ikkitousen figures is really going up the levels~( ^ _ ^ );

Anyway, we still have to wait for their final products~^^;

I think I saw this figure during Wonder Fesival 2008 Winter. Something just not right with the figure…I think it’s the pose. She looks awkward in that pose.

I can’t really read what’s written on the poster but…could it be?

If you have followed Shuraki figures and have collected all or atleast some of them, you will notice from the Drama CD and Illustration Booklet that there’s actually a total of 7 female fighters in the series. As we know, 5 of them were already out; Akatsuki, Meifeng, Char, Needa, and Rize.

The other 2 are Mizuchi Towako (Voiced by Mizuki Nana), a Miko with a leaf-like Steel Fan weapon, and Monica (Voiced by Kadowaki Mai), a Gothloli with a big sword as weapon.

The one shown on the image above is Monica.

So…is there any chances that they’ve decided to add the other 2 and give them the figure treatment? Well, it’s just a speculation ^^; For me, I would love to~XD

Maybe GSC gonna surprised us during this coming Wonder Festival 2008~XD
