So finally my “Mirai Art” is completed ^^ Actually there’s still some stuffs that can be added, but I’ll leave it as it is for now. To tell the truth, it’s quite fun colouring her, thanks to Azami Sensei for designing a nice mascot character for Danny ^^
Progress Report:
Another update on “Mirai Art” (Again) ^^;
So today I got her some hair extensions~XD Anyway :p I’ve decided to modify her hair big time, since I found the previous one a bit stiff and doesn’t really suit her. I think she looks much better now ( ^ _ ^ ) There’s still lots of stuffs to do for the hair, but managed to do some highlights and shadows. After I finished with the hair, then I’ll start with the uniforms, and then the rest.
The pace looking good so far and should be able to finish it by this week~ \( ^ o ^ )/
Oh, and everything is done using Photoshop CS2.
Finals ended and I have lots of freetime, so decided to continue on the “Mirai Art” I did the other day ^^
Well, it’s not completed yet, around 50-60% done. I added the base colours and managed to finish touching up her face and eyes, left with the tones and highlights for the uniforms, and the rest.
Right now I’m in the middle of doing her hair ^^; I think so far it looks fine to me. I’ll probably going to redo the lineart for her hair, since it doesn’t really looks like it “flow” naturally ^^;
Did some quick inking using Paint Tool Sai ^^
Totally recommend Paint Tool Sai and you can download it for free on the internet. Just search Google for it and you should find it ^^ It’s a Japanese program, but someone already translate the program to English for easy use ^^

I have both Illustrator and Photoshop, and I have to say this program is like a 2 in 1 ^^
Colouring probably will be doing it next week, after I finished with my final projects XD~
So, I saw Danny’s Post saying that he’s looking for a new pose for “Mirai-Chan”. If you didn’t know yet, “Mirai Suenaga” is Dannychoo.com‘s main Mascot Girl, and you can see her shown all over the site ^^
Had some free time, so I’ve decided to try and do a quick sketch of Mirai, using an image from To Love Ru’s Lala as reference, since Danny have some interest on the pose ^^;
Took around 30 minutes, and this is what I came with:
I don’t usually leave all my drawn stuffs incomplete, so I’ll probably will do the inking and colouring later on ^^;
