Queen’s Gate Alice Boost State Ver.

April 24, 2008

alice

Akiba Hobby just posted a nice first look on the upcoming “Alice Boost State Ver.” from Queen’s Gate series by Alter. More photos Here.

The figure is scheduled for December 2008 release and up for 6,800 Yen.

From the looks of it, this figure will be Hobby Japan magazine order exclusive. Which means that you need to cut a limited order coupon from Hobby Japan (should be the next issue), and send it through mail if you want to get this figure.

When I look at it for the first time, I just went totally blank for a second. This is one of the best looking figure I’ve seen lately!! ( > _ < );; I got the same feeling as when I look at Alter’s “KOS-MOS Ver. 4” and “Chua Churam” for the first time. I mean look at it…it’s just amazing~XD, but the whole coupon thing might really prevent most of us from getting it.

Need to find a way to get this ( > _ < );

Wave’s Tamaki & Sasara Reservation Starts!!

April 24, 2008

tamaki

sasara

Wave deliveres us 2 new figures from To Heart 2 series. One is 1/6 Scale “Kosaka Tamaki Maid Ver.” for 8,500 Yen, and the other is 1/8 Scale “Kasugawa Sasara” for 5,200 Yen. Both figures are scheduled for September 2008 release. Hobby Search is taking reservations for them as of today.

The high cost for Tamaki is probably because of the scale, the added ABS material for it ^^ and Rubber Boobs~XD Both looks gorgeous, although I prefer Sasara out of the two ( ^ _ ^ );

Gotta love the slogan “Soft Material! Feel So Good!” on Tamaki~XD

Nendoroid Hatsune Miku (Good Smile Company)

April 24, 2008

Here it is, the review for my “Nendoroid Hatsune Miku” by Good Smile Company, which arrived yesterday ^^

miku

I’ve been waiting for this forever, since most of us who ordered online can only get Miku on 2nd shipment on 16th April, 2008. The 1st shipment, which was on 31st March, 2008 are mostly for the shops in Japan ( > _ < ), but I’m not gonna complain. Miku is so worth the wait ^^ Just like any Nendoroid figures, Miku is Mega Cute!! You can view her in action with other Vocaloids mates below:

Just a little bit of info on Hatsune Miku ^^ Hatsune Miku is part of the Vocaloids line up, and also the first to be made. First created by Crypton Future Media, Vocaloid is a singing synthesise program that let users create a song.

Ok back to topic :p Good Smile Company really did well on Miku. Just like any Nendoroid series, Miku comes with different facial expressions and other extra accessories, which allows you to get different kinds of Miku. That even includes the “Hachune Miku” version, and the Leek :p

The figure also comes with an instruction manual, and also a brochure which lists all the released Nendoroids so far.

The best thing is that Miku can stand without any trouble even without the aids of the Stand. All thanks to the oversized twintails, which can act as a support :p Even the twintails are movable. For a small 10 cm height of figure, the details are amazing.

Anyway on with the shots~
