Here it is, the review for “Figma Suzumiya Haruhi School Uniform Ver.” by Max Factory, the last of my big haul of the week ^^
Well, I don’t really have much to say on Haruhi, she’s just another amazing Figma release ^^ Compared to Yuki, there’s definitely an improvement, especially the skirt. Unlike Yuki, Haruhi’s skirt is much more flexible, which makes it easier to move her legs further ^^
Accessories wise, Haruhi still has the same format just like the others. In Haruhi’s case you get the trademark Megaphone, and additional “Kantoku” armband. The usual extra pair of hands and face expressions are still included ^^ Paint jobs and details are still amazing as ever, just what you expect from Max Factory.
Although Saber still gets my all-time favourite Figma for now ^^; Anyway, Haruhi is still an amazing Figma to get.

Alright~ Next review will be this wonderful “Figma Saber Armor Ver.” by Max Factory ^^
All I can say about Saber is that…she’s Amazing!! ( > _ < )v She’s a lot superior in many ways than the previous Figma Yuki ^^ The details and the mobility is just wowee~ I think this will be my favourite Figma figure up-to-date ^^ I can see that the Figma releases are getting better with each new releases. So much potential, can’t wait for the rest of the future Figmas to be out ^^ So excited~
Anyway, just like previous Figma releases, a lot of extra accessories included, which allows you to play with different posing option ^^ In Saber case, you get 2 extra face expression, extra hair, 2 Excaliburs, and 3 extra pairs of hands. She can stand with ease without the help of the “Figma Stand”, unless for some fancy poses ^^

This next review will be “Nendoroid-Petit Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu #02” by Good Smile Company, and also the first figure review of the month ^^
This 2nd set is the follow up of the previous “Nendoroid-Petit Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu #01” release, also by Good Smile Company. Just like before, this box set contains 12 figures; 5 different character figures with 2 versions each, a Secret Figure, and a random extra figure. Each standing around 6-7cm. The only difference is that we have a different line up now. We are getting Ryoko and Kyon’s Sister this time, instead of Kyon and Tsuraya-san. Haruhi, Mikuru, and Yuki are still included in this set.
As for the Secret Figure, we are getting Mikuru in her Frog costume, which most of you might already know ^^;
So how about quality? Are there any improvement compared to the first one? Absolutely!! ^^ For those who owned the 1st set (including me :p), you might be complaining about lots of stuffs, which include defection, parts easily coming off, durability, etc. Rest assured!! All of those are history now!!^^
I’m quite impressed with all the improvements they have made with this set. All the parts and joints are now firmly fit and won’t come off easily. The figure also came out as a whole when you open the box now, unlike the 1st one which comes in pieces. Colour and paint job looks crisp now ^^ Durability wise, it looks much stronger now. You can really feel the weight ^^ As for details, I won’t say much, really ^^ It’s quite understandable, but for a 500 Yen figure, GSC really did wonderful on these ^^

My favourites are Kyon’s Sister, Mikuru, and Yuki ( ^ _ ^ )/
This new figure of “Ryomou Shimei Cat Maid Ver. “ from Ikkitousen series will be available for you by Taki Corporation this coming June 2008, with a hefty price of 8,800 Yen. Hobby Search is taking pre-orders for her as of today.
Although it’s a 1/8 scale, what makes the high price is the added ABS material on it. I prefer the normal version than the Cat Maid, but I’ll pass on these ^^;
For starter, I’ll start the review with “Kuonji Shinra 1/8 Scale” by Good Smile Company ^^
Kuonji Shinra is the main heroine from the eroge “Kimi Ga Aruji de Shitsuji Ga Ore De” or They Are My Noble Masters, and also from the anime adaptation with the same name. She’s probably well known with the call name “Shinra-Sama” ^^ OP of the anime below:
Shinra was just released few days ago on 26th April 2008 and is the first release from Kimiaru series by Good Smile Company, with Benisu following this coming July 2008 ^^
This is probably the most elegant looking figure I have. She just has that same “aura” you get from the anime series ( > _ < ) Everything about her is just amazing, from details to paint job. The hair is also well made, and it’s probably one of the charm point ^^ The details on her jewelry chain, and dress is amazing. Unfortunately, Shinra is not Full Cast off-able. The only thing that can be casted off is her cape ^^;
Just a word of warning. If you ever bought Shinra, don’t forget to remove the cape and start rubbing off the “oil” from it. There should be some on the legs and the top-wear ^^

Just like Kotobukiya‘s 2 versions of “Sennin Narika”, Haruka will also gets her “Damaged” version released. This Limited Edition of “Sennin Haruka Damage Ver.” is scheduled for August 2008 release and will be up at the same price as the Normal Version for 5,800 Yen. Hobby Search is taking reservation for her as of today.
As you can see, she has a different face expression, and shows more skin. Although not as much as Narika~XD

Here it is, the review for “Suzumiya Haruka 1/8 Scale” by Good Smile Company, which arrived a while ago ^^
I’ve decided to get this figure to pair up with the upcoming “Hayase Mitsuki 1/8 Scale”, which I’m planning to get also ^^;
Anyway, Suzumiya Haruka is one of the main heroine from Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien series, with Hayase Mitsuki as the other ^^. This time Good Smile Company decided to release her in her swimsuit and this will be my second “Beach” theme figure ^^ OP of the anime below:
GSC really did well on Haruka, as usual~:p The paint job and details, especially the Straw Hat and the “Sandy” Stand, are just amazing. She looks quite provocative in a way also ^^; The body curve is yummy~
The figure is pretty simple basically, and only come with a stand. No other accessories included ^^;
Anyway on with the shots~This time I tried using “Manual” mode and decided to do the settings on my own. Usually I put mine under “Macro” mode, and let my camera do the rest ^^;

The previous mentioned Nekomiya Nono figure by Kotobukiya finally opens its reservation ^^ This new 1/6 Scale of “Nekomiya Nono Nekomimi School Swimsuit Over Knee Socks Ver.” (long name >.<; ) from Yotsunoha series is scheduled for August 2008 release by Kotobukiya for 5,800 Yen ^^
On the same topic, Kotobukiya has also opened the reservation for “Kawazoe Tamaki” from Bamboo Blade series ^^ She will also be out on August 2008 and will be at 5,500 Yen retail price.
