The wait is finally over. The reservation for this wonderful 1/8 Scale figure of “Hatsune Miku” from the Vocaloid series by Good Smile Company finally started. Miku is scheduled for September 2008 release and will be up for 5,200 Yen ^^ Hobby Search is taking pre-orders for her as of today.
Akiba Hobby just posted a nice first look on the upcoming “Alice Boost State Ver.” from Queen’s Gate series by Alter. More photos Here.
The figure is scheduled for December 2008 release and up for 6,800 Yen.
From the looks of it, this figure will be Hobby Japan magazine order exclusive. Which means that you need to cut a limited order coupon from Hobby Japan (should be the next issue), and send it through mail if you want to get this figure.
When I look at it for the first time, I just went totally blank for a second. This is one of the best looking figure I’ve seen lately!! ( > _ < );; I got the same feeling as when I look at Alter’s “KOS-MOS Ver. 4” and “Chua Churam” for the first time. I mean look at it…it’s just amazing~XD, but the whole coupon thing might really prevent most of us from getting it.
Wave deliveres us 2 new figures from To Heart 2 series. One is 1/6 Scale “Kosaka Tamaki Maid Ver.” for 8,500 Yen, and the other is 1/8 Scale “Kasugawa Sasara” for 5,200 Yen. Both figures are scheduled for September 2008 release. Hobby Search is taking reservations for them as of today.
The high cost for Tamaki is probably because of the scale, the added ABS material for it ^^ and Rubber Boobs~XD Both looks gorgeous, although I prefer Sasara out of the two ( ^ _ ^ );
Gotta love the slogan “Soft Material! Feel So Good!” on Tamaki~XD
Here it is, the review for my “Nendoroid Hatsune Miku” by Good Smile Company, which arrived yesterday ^^
I’ve been waiting for this forever, since most of us who ordered online can only get Miku on 2nd shipment on 16th April, 2008. The 1st shipment, which was on 31st March, 2008 are mostly for the shops in Japan ( > _ < ), but I’m not gonna complain. Miku is so worth the wait ^^ Just like any Nendoroid figures, Miku is Mega Cute!! You can view her in action with other Vocaloids mates below:
Just a little bit of info on Hatsune Miku ^^ Hatsune Miku is part of the Vocaloids line up, and also the first to be made. First created by Crypton Future Media, Vocaloid is a singing synthesise program that let users create a song.
Ok back to topic :p Good Smile Company really did well on Miku. Just like any Nendoroid series, Miku comes with different facial expressions and other extra accessories, which allows you to get different kinds of Miku. That even includes the “Hachune Miku” version, and the Leek :p
The figure also comes with an instruction manual, and also a brochure which lists all the released Nendoroids so far.
The best thing is that Miku can stand without any trouble even without the aids of the Stand. All thanks to the oversized twintails, which can act as a support :p Even the twintails are movable. For a small 10 cm height of figure, the details are amazing.
A new “Cyrille Olive” figure from the game Shining Force EXA is scheduled for release by First Class, a company which I never heard of ^^; There will be 2 versions for this release; Normal Version and Nekomimi Version. Both are scheduled for June 2008 release and will be up for 5,800 Yen each. Hobby Search is taking reservation for them as of now.
As you can see, the difference between the two is the expression and Nekomimi mode~
This is probably one of those few figures where it’ll caught your attention straight once you took a glance on it ^^ Just look at the details, especially the chains. I’m pretty weak to Nekomimi mode~XD
As promised, here it is the review for “Franco Il Nero a.k.a Black Franco” by Alter, which arrived few days ago together with my “Al Azif Swimsuit Ver. 1/8 Scale” ^^
As mentioned before, Franco is one of the three main heroine from the eroge “Tre Donne Crudelli – Satsuriku no Django” by Nitro+, and is the second release by Alter after Donne Anonime a.k.a Miss Nobody. The third heroine, Lily Salvatana, will follows on July 2008 ^^ OP of the game below:
Franco was originally scheduled to be released on March 28th, 2008, but was delayed because of some circumstances until April 16th, 2008.
Unlike Donne Anonime, there’s only one version of release this time by Alter, but that does not mean that this figure is no good ^^; Franco definitely worth getting, especially if you already owned Donne. The details is just awesome, especially the dynamic pose d( > _ < )b The pose is based on one of the CG from the game below. There are 2 versions, designed by none other than NiO:
NiO is also the character designer for Deus Machina Demonbane and also the new anime by Gonzo, Blassreiter, collaboration with Nitro+. For a figure that’s worth 7,000 Yen, this is definitely a good bargain ^^
The figure comes with a “Wall” stand to support the weight of it. Although there’s a bad news for those who owns Donne. No more “Rubber Boobs” this time for Franco~XD
Anyway on with the shots~
Close up~
Pantsu ^^;~
A closer look on the details.
Walls~
Boots~
Revolver~
Jacket~
Current collections~
Now I’ll just have to wait for Lily to be released~ ( > _ < )v
Cospa have decided to re-release their stuffed toy animal,Botan from CLANNAD ^^ This was actually pretty popular and quite high in demand, which is probably why they’ve decided to re-release it. It’ll be up for 3,800 Yen, and Hobby Search is taking pre-orders for it as of now. The size is about 19 cm high.
These 2 new 1/8 Scale figures of “Hoshii Miki” from XBox 360 game, The IDOLM@STER, will be available for you this coming September 2008 by Max Factory ^^
Both “Rouse Ver.” (left) and “Expectant New Star Ver.” (right) will be up for 7,100 Yen each ^^ Hobby Search has open the reservation for them as of today.
These figures were first shown during Wonder Festival 2008 Winter.
I have to say, this is probably the best looking IDOLM@STER figure thus far ( ^ _ ^ )/
This new set of “Figumate Shakugan no Shana 2nd” by Konami will be available this coming August 2008 for 4,600 Yen. There will be a total of 10 figures in the box set, with 8 different ones + 2 extra random figures, with each standing around 7 cm high ^^ Hobby Search is taking reservations for it as of now.
Here it is as promised, the review for “Al Azif Swimsuit Ver. 1/8 Scale” by Alter, which arrived a while ago ^^
Review for Franco will follow later, Al Azif first for now ^^; As mentioned before, Al Azif is the main heroine from the eroge Deus Machina Demonbane and also the OVA adaptation of the same name by Nitro+. This time Al Azif appears in her swimsuit, the same one as the one during the beach scene in the anime version ^^
Beach Episode below:
Nice series, worth picking it up~
Anyway :p, I have to say, this is one cute figure of Al Azif and Alter did really well on it. The paint job looks great ^^ What I like about this figure is the expression, and also the “Sandy” base stand, well made indeed ^^ The figure comes with the following accessories:
The skirt pretty much cast off-able. With the addition of Alter’s version, this will be my third figure of Al Azif ^^
My “Franco Il Nero a.k.a Black Franco” and “Al Azif Swimsuit Ver. 1/8 Scale” from Alter just arrived today \( ^ o ^ )/ Didn’t expect them to arrive this soon ^^;
Anyway, reviews for these will be posted by this evening or tomorrow latest. Look forward to it ( ^ _ ^ )/
This new figure of “Kamikita Komari” from Little Busters! series will be available this coming July 2008 by Toys Works for 6,400 Yen ^^ Hobby Search is taking reservation for it as of today.
This version does looks nice, but I still prefer the Kotobukiya‘s one ^^;
Akiba Blog just posted some new images of the upcoming Kotobukiya‘s Sennin Haruka, straight from the prototype stage. I can’t really read Japanese, so I can’t really say anything on the full article ^^; Have to wait for the English version to be posted~XD
Looking at the photos, looks like Haruka’s Gi can be casted off ^^; The details looks great so far, and it looks really close as the original Illustration. Looking forward to this ( ^ _ ^ )/
Saw this 1/7 Scale Resin kit of “Takamori Haruka” from Beat Blade Haruka over at Volks Online Store ^^ The price is a little bit expensive ^^; It’s up for 10,000 Yen.
Although I don’t collect Resin kits (Since I’m no good in painting these stuffs~XD ), I have to say, this is probably the best looking Haruka I’ve seen so far d( > _ < )b
On other news, I spotted this while browsing Foo-bar-baz. Looks like Volks is planning to release the PVC version of the previous Wonfest 2008 exclusive 1/6 Scale Hatsune Miku, this coming September 2008 (Yay~!!) ^^ It’ll be up for 6,800 Yen and reservations will start on 29th April, 2008 ^^
Well just hope that it isn’t Volks Online Store exclusive, because I so want it!! ( > _ < )v I wonder if the price is correct, because 7,000 Yen for a 1/6 scale is cheap ^^;
Kotobukiya just updated their Blog with more images of the upcoming release figure of “Nekomiya Nono” in her school swimsuit and Neko Mimi~XD Nono is the heroine from the eroge Yotsunoha, and the anime adaptation with the same name. You can view the trailer of the anime below:
This figure was shown earlier, still in the prototype stage, and was scheduled for August 2008 release. Price is still undecided ^^;
I have to say, this is one damn cute figure!! ( > _ < )v
This was actually announced yesterday ^^; These 3 new figures of Ryomou Shimei, Kanu Unchou, and Sonshaku Hakufu from Ikkitousen series, will be available by Taki Corporation in their Nurse uniform this coming May 2008 for 4,800 Yen each ^^ Hobby Search is taking reservation for them as of now.
The only thing I know is that Ryomou’s uniform is cast off-able :p Don’t know about the rest though~
Hobby Search just open the reservation for this beautiful set of figures of “2007 Rei & Asuka Summer Ver.” by Kurushima (never heard of the company before) ^^; Hoho, even the price is “beautiful” :p This set of figures will be up for a whoopin price of 28,000 Yen!! *Faint* Only 1000 of these will be manufactured and will be made using Cold Cast material.
I’ll pass on these…too much dough for me ( > _ < );
With Elwing announced earlier by Kotobukiya, it won’t take very long until the next line up from the “Shining Wind” series to be out ^^ This 1/8 Scale of “Mao” by Kotobukiya is the next line up from Shining Wind series, which is scheduled for July 2008 release and up for 5,300 Yen ^^ Hobby Search is taking pre-orders for it as of today~
Another new release from Good Smile Company ^^ This gorgeous 1/8 Scale figure of “Hayase Mitsuki” from Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien series will be available this coming August 2008 for 5,000 Yen by Good Smile Company, and Hobby Search is taking pre-orders for it as of today ^^
