I got this “Queen’s Blade Nyx” by Mega House not long ago from KKnM, but can’t decide whether I want to post a review on it or not ^^; In the end I decided to XD
I marked the review as R18, because of the Full Cast-Off pictures, so if you find it offensive, just don’t read it, since I won’t be “covering” anything ^^;
Anyway, I’ve been eye-ing this figure, together with “Queen’s Blade Airi” ever since its release, but can’t seems to get my hand on them… they keep getting sold out ( > _ < ). That’s when I spotted this at KKnM accidentally, and just bought it without a second thought ^^;
This sexy figure is really great in terms of quality and details, and not mentioning the Full Cast-Off goodness ^^ The figure comes with Nyx’s Staff, the stand, and the add-on “Thorns” for the dress.
This is something that I got from my friend awhile ago, but kinda forgot about it, until I real Danny’s post on Game Consoles ^^;
Virtualnes or vNES is basically a site dedicated where old school fans like you, get to play old Nintendo/Famicom games online!! You can access the site right Here.
It runs using Java Script, so make sure you have it installed before playing ^^ There are over 100 games you can choose from. Just click the game that you want to play on the left column, and wait for it to load ^^

I’ve been following his work on Stop Motion video ever since last year, and I have to say, he’s probably got the best one I’ve ever seen ^^ Goes with the account name “Plamoo”, you can view the rest of his video at Youtube Here.
What makes his video interesting is that he used action figures and Gunpla to do it. He did lots of parodies. I know there are lots of Stop Motion video posted on Youtube using these stuffs, but they are nothing compared to his work. Creating a Stop Motion video is quite tideous and requires the skill and patience to do it, and this guy definitely got all of them. Overtime, you can see that he developed new technique and effects to enhance his video ^^
Anyway, his latest video features “Figma Nagato Yuki” ^^ You can view it below:
Sorry, wasn’t able to post this yesterday since I was so tired after the movie, and went to sleep straight ^^;
Anyway XD, as promised, here it is the review for “Melissa Seraphy 1/8 Scale” from Wagamama Cappricio by Good Smile Company which just arrived yesterday. I think it’s an Ero-Game ^^;
Another hard to find figure, since it was released in Mid-2006. Accidentally spotted it at Hobby Search when they restocked it, and I just ordered it straight away, fearing that it’ll get sold out ^^;
The figure comes with a stand, and that’s it, no other extra goodies. The “Pumpkin” skirt can be cast-off, and I’m pretty much satisfied with the figure ^^ The quality and the details were great, and the Pumpkin is a “See-Though” ^^; but with one problem. It cannot stand properly without the aid of the Pumpkin, but overall, it was worth it ^^; This figure is really good for Halloween decoration or present XD
Anyway, on with the shots~
Closer look of the pumpkin~
The inside~
Close up~
Without the Pumpkin~
Pantsu ^^;
The stand~
Now I can’t wait for the Nendoroid version of it ( ^ _ ^ )/
So, I just came back from watching “Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone” few minutes ago, and my impression of the movie is…SUPERB!!! It’s worth my time watching it. Watched the 7.15 PM slot and was sitting 2nd row from the front. It was almost full house, but……………there’s one most disappointing part when I watched it. They bloody cut out the trailer for the 2nd movie after the credits ended!!! ( > _ < ) and they can’t even cut it out properly. After the credits ended we can still hear the naration. It went like “In the next…!” then the screen went black. The whole cinema went nuts after that lol.
Anyway, putting aside the trailer removal, the movie was really great. Basically it covers the 1st 6 episodes of the TV series with NERV defeating the 1st three Angels and it ends after. The first half of the movie used most of the original TV series scenes with some animation improvement, but the best part is the 2nd half of it. The 2nd half of the movie is a total remake and you can really see the difference compared to the 1st half.
The animation quality, 3D effects, cell-shading, etc was awesome. It covers the part where Shinji fought the 6th “Cube” Angel. I won’t really say much, but I really like how they “recreate” the 6th Angel and make it really powerful. It can shapeshifts and has some new abilities that was never shown in the TV series before. Anyway it was a blast!!
After watching it, I really can’t wait for the 2nd movie ^^ If only they didn’t remove the “Evangelion: 2.0” trailer ( = _ = )
My “Melissa Seraphy 1/8 Scale” from Good Smile Company just arrived few moments ago ^^ Reviews will be posted probably after I finished watching “Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone” later this evening ( ^ _ ^ )/
Sometimes, I’m just glad I’m in Singapore right now, because the movie “Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone” will start its screening tomorrow on 13th March 2008 ^^ I’m really looking forward to the movie, ever since I heard the news about it like 3 weeks ago ^^
Planning to go watch it tomorrow evening after my classes ended, together with my classmates ( ^ _ ^ )/ I heard the movie is a total remake of the original TV series, with alternate storytelling. The 1st movie will cover the 1st 6 episodes of the series, and a total of 6 movies is in the making!! ( > _ < )
So are you going to watch it, for those who are currently in Singapore or is there any screening of it in your country? ( ‘ _ ‘ )/

Foobarbaz just posted his report coverage on the “Moecon 2008” event, which took place on 9th March 2008. A lot of photos on upcoming figures, although you probably have seen most of them from Wonder Festival 2008 “Winter” ^^;
You probably have seen it from the Wonder Festival 2008 “Winter” coverage around the net, but in case you missed it, Max Factory have added another two entries for the Figma series.
Figma Takamachi Nanoha and Figma Fate Testarossa from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS series will get the Figma treatment ^^. Nanoha is scheduled for May 2008 release, and unfortunately, there’s still no release date yet for Fate ^^;
Hobby Search just opened the reservation for “Shana 1/7 Scale” from Shakugan no Shana series by Griffon Enterprises, and will be available for you this coming June 2008 for 6,500 Yen ^^
This is also an entry from Wonder Festival 2008 “Winter”. I like how it looks ^^
Looks like the next Vocaloid star which will get the Nendoroid treatment after Hatsune miku would be Kagamine Rin. Kagamine Rin is part of the new Vocaloid Twins together with Kagamine Len ^^
No news on when it’ll be released, so I guess we’ll just have to wait ^^ Looks cute :3
Just got these two kits today; “1/100 Gundam Virtue” and “MG Nu Gundam -Metallic Coating Version” ^^
I have to say, I’m surprised with how big Virtue box is. It’s as big as MG’s box ( > _ < ), but luckily Nu’s box isn’t as big as Sazabi’s ^^; I’ll probably will do Nu first and then Virtue, although I probably won’t be able to finish them until next week…really busy this week ( = _ = );
As usual, I’ll do the reviews after I finished with them ( ^ _ ^ )/
I could really feel the heat of competition between Figma and Revoltech releases ^^;
Anyway, Akiba Blog have some preview photos of the upcoming “Figma Tosaka Rin” by Max factory. The price and release date are still undecided, but it’ll probably in the 2,000 Yen range just like the others. There are also previews of the upcoming “Figma Saber Armor Ver.”, which will be released next month on April.
Sorry it took so long to post this, had some connection problem which slowed down the image upload -m( _ _ )m- and I went to watch “10,000 BC” also ^^; Good show ( > _ < )b
Anyway As promised, here it is “Al Azif 1/8 Scale” from Max Factory which arrived yesterday ^^ This figure was released in 2006, so it’s pretty difficult to get it. Luckily I spotted this just when Hobby Search finished updating the restock item page ^^; Was the last of the stock since it went “Sold Out” after I placed the order…lucky shot ^^;
This figure really do looks nice, in terms of quality and details. I personally like the hair and the ribbons. The figure already screwed to the base stand when I opened it, and it comes with a transparent brickwall, which then you insert it to the stand. Now just a question…do you considered this figure as “Loly”? :p
My “Al Azif 1/8 Scale” from Max Factory which was just arrived yesterday afternoon ^^ Reviews will be posted later this afternoon/evening, once I’m done sorting the photos ~XD
Another two entries from Wonder Festival 2008 “Winter” by Alter are ready for some actions ^^
Hobby Search just opened the reservation for these 2 gorgeous figures by Alter; Lily Salvatana from Django of Slaughter for 6,800 Yen and Choun Shiryu from Ikkitousen: Dragon Destiny for 6,800 Yen. Both figures are planned for July 2008 release.
I have to say, both figures looks great, but Lily probably got the upper hand in terms of “Charm” ^^; Her eyes really well drawn, and of course, the other “Eyes” also ~XD The quality looks great too ^^
Saw this video on Youtube this morning and I thought I share it with you guys ^^
The video features a group of people doing the Domino drop runs featuring Hinagiku from Hayate no Gotoku ^^ I thought this is quite amazing ^^; Looks like it took them 12 hours to prepare them…I think ( > _ < ). You can view the video below:
