I have to say, that’s one pretty figure ^^ I saw the anime series, and it was worth watching~( ^ _ ^ )/
Another entry from the Evangelion series is now ready for pre-orders ^^
This new 1/8 scale figure of “Ayanami Rei Gothic Lolita Noir Ver.”, will be available this coming October 2008 by Kotobukiya, and it’ll be retailing for 6,800 Yen. Hobby Search is taking reservations for her as of today.
This was made so you could paired it up with Gothloli Asuka ^^ Another fine figure I have to say, although I probably won’t be getting her~( ^ _ ^ );
You won’t believe this ^^ Alter just opened the reservation of their 3 new awesome entries, which is really unexpected ^^;
These amazing entries are “Elizabeth 1/8 Scale” from the PS2 game Persona 3 FES, “Ayanami Rei 1/8 Scale” from the Rebuild of Evangelion movie series, and “Aya 1/7 Scale” from Onee Chanbara VorteX.
All of these figures are scheduled for October 2008, with both Elizabeth and Rei retailing at 5,800 Yen, and Aya retailing at 7,800 Yen. Hobby Search is taking reservations for all of them as of today.
Wow, these are so gonna blow my wallet away. I personally like this version of Rei a lot~( ^ _ ^ )/
I’ve decided to take some photos of my current room as of June 2008, after seeing Danny’s new “Your Room” sub-section Member’s News ^^ I just did some cleaning, so I think this is the perfect time to do this ^^ This is also a good time for those who are stil curious on how do I get all the space to display my collections ^^;
Anyway, lets start off with an overview of the room~
(Right Click on images, and choose “Open Image” for larger version)
The left side is the Figure section and the right is the Gunpla section. The space between them is where I do all my work~
A look on the Gunpla section~ The lower part is where I kept all my Nendoroid-Petits~
A look on the lower Gunpla section~ All the Nendoroids are well kept in a special display case, which makes my job much easier when cleaning them ^^ Put my Figmas there so I can play with them when I’m bored~XD
The top is some of the Gunpla boxes (Yeah, Dendrobium takes lots of space = _ = )~
My work space~ Also the space where I converted it to my “Mini-Studio” to do all the reviews ^^~ As you can see, I have 2 Desk Lamps, which are essentials for my reviews~XD
Figure sections~
My Shuraki figures which I have collected so far, lacking of Char ( > _ < ); Meifeng and Rize which reviews still pending ^^;
MG Strike Freedom -FBM- (The only perfect place to display it ^^; )
The only Manga I have collected so far~All in English (and that’s my Astraea which I still need to find the time to build on > _ < ).
All my PSP & PC games~ Also Meifeng’s and Rize’s Box which I still kept for my reviews. The rest of the figure boxes is inside the cupboard below.
More Gunpla boxes~ That’s my “1/60 Strike Freedom – Lightening Edition” on the left, which I still havent done any review on ^^; Brown box is my “Diffuser” for photoshoot lightening purposes.
Another corner of the room, where I displayed my humongous Dendrobium and Destiny -EBM-~ I just lucky to have the space ^^; Below is some of the Hobby Search boxes, which I still haven’t thrown away ^^;
Lastly, my only Nanoha Wall Scroll which I acquired from KKnM last year (It was the only item at KKnM) ^^;
I’m kind of blessed with all the display space, but as you can see, everything is in the open. So I have no choice but to clean atleast once a month. Such a hastle ( > _ < ) I’m planning to get myself a new Detolf Cabinet when I have the chance ^^
That’s about it I guess ^^ A little bit cramped, but I kind of happy with the overall layout, since it’s just perfect for me ^^
Another nice line up from the Nendoroid series by Good Smile Company is finally ready for reservations ^^
The wait is over!! These 2 new figures of “Nendoroid Kagamine Len” and “Nendoroid Kagamine Ren” from the Vocaloid series, are scheduled for October 2008 release, and both will be up for 2,800 Yen retail price. Both are sold separately. Hobby Search is taking pre-orders for both of them as of today.
I pre-ordered them the moment I saw them available~XD If you want to order them, better be quick, because the twins has the same potential as Miku ^^; Which means, they’re gonna sold out fast!!~( > _ < )/
Finally, the next Nendoroid series to be released from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu series is this “Nendoroid Asakura Ryoko & Extension Part Set” ^^ As the name implies, Ryoko will comes with extra accessories, in which you can use them on Nendoroid Haruhi, Mikuru, and Yuki ^^
Ryoko will be available this coming September 2008 by Good Smile Company and will be up for 4,700 Yen retail price. The higher price is because of the extra accessories ^^; Hobby Search is taking reservation for her as of today ^^
She looks cute and deadly~ Definitely a must get if you already owned the others~( ^ _ ^ )/
As promised here it is, a look on the Nida‘s character illustration booklet, “Shuraki Secret File Vol.4: Nida” ^^ I don’t have a scanner right now, so I had no choice but to use my camera ( > _ < );
As mentioned before, this booklet was included with Nida’s figure, together with the Drama CD. The booklet has 24 pages, including the front page and back page. Basically, it contains and mostly towards the Drama CD, the summary of the story, each character biography, cast interviews, and also Nida’s character song lyrics ^^
Since this is also considered an Illustration booklet, you get to see all the gorgeous art that was done by Shunya Yamashita ^^
As for the Drama CD, it also contained the character song for Nida, sung by none other than Chiba Saeko, which also voiced Nida herself ^^ The song title is “Anfang”, if you’re wondering. The Drama CD also featured other famous voice actresses, which include Chihara Minori, Koshimizu Ami, Mizuki Nana, and also Tamura Yukari ^^

I haven’t finished listening to the Drama CD, so I can’t really say much about it, but looking at all of this, they really need to make Shuraki into an anime series~( ^ _ ^ );
2 new figures by Eye Up from Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann series are now ready for reservations~
These figures of “Gurren Lagann Kamina” & “Gurren Lagann Yoko” will be available this coming August 2008 and September 2008 respectively ^^ Both will be up for 7,800 Yen retail price. Hobby Search is taking reservations for both of them as of today.
Yoko does looks nice, but something just not right with her mouth ^^; Both figures looks really good in term of quality though~( ^ _ ^ )/
Here it is, the first figure review for the month of June, and Nida here, will take the honour to be the first one ^^
As you can see, I’ve divided the review into 2 parts, because of the photo intensive review ^^; This is the first time I actually needed more than one part to do a review. This just shows how awesome Nida is ^^
Anyway, this figure of “Shuraki Trinity Box #04: Nida Schuetlich” by Good Smile Company was released on 24th May, 2008. It was originally scheduled for March 2008 release, but was delayed for more improvements.
Just some info on the series, for those who new to this ^^; Shuraki Trinity is a figure series made in collaboration between Good Smile Company and RED Entertainment. There are 5 figures to be released based on this series, and Nida is the 4th of the character. You can visit the official site here.
Ironically, Nida is my 2nd Shuraki figure, with Akatsuki being the 1st ^^;
Each character is designed by famous character designers and each has different nationality. In Nida’s case, she’s a German and designed by the awesome Shunya Yamashita ^^ It’s probably easy to distinguish the designer, even if you don’t know who designed Nida in the first place~XD Shunya Yamashita’s trademark is probably the lips and the eye design~
To make it even spectacular, they even have JAM Project to do the theme song for the series, which you can view the PV below:
Alright, back on topic~Nida comes with interchangable uniforms between the Normal version and the Damaged version, and of course, she’s Cast Off-able ^^ She also came with two different Sniper Rifles, the big one and the small one, and also a Dagger for safe keeping ^^
After reading all this, you know that Shuraki figure series is really special ^^ Just like previous releases of Shuraki figures, Nida comes with a 24-Page character illustration booklet called “Shuraki Secret File Vol.4: Nida” and a Drama CD. Oh, and also comes with the instruction manual for cast off.
Nida is voiced by Chiba Saeko ^^ She’s probably more known for voicing Natsuki Kuga/Kruger from Mai Hime/Otome series. The Drama CD also featured other famous voice actresses such as Koshimizu Ami, Mizuki Nana and Chihara Minori ^^
(You can view the content of the Nida’s Illustration Booklet right here)
Anyway, what can I say, this is one awesome figure. The paint job, sculpt, everything is top notch. Even the Base Stand is well made. The wait is really worth it ^^
As mentioned before, the review is divided into 2 parts, because I took lots of photos ^^; So on with the shots!!!~
(Right click on images, and choose “Open Image” for larger Version)
Some new previews of the upcoming “Nendoroid Kagamine Ren” & “Nendoroid Kagamine Len” ^^
(Right click on Image, and choose “Open Image” for large version)
Just like Hatsune Miku with her Leek, the twins will also come with their own accessories, Len gets the Mike and Ren gets the Keyboard ^^
Just a reminder that these 2 are scheduled for September 2008 release and it’ll be up for 3,000 Yen retail price. The reservation for both should open soon~( ^ _ ^ )/
According to Mikatan, as posted in her blog, a new Figma TV commercial is scheduled to air on June 2nd, 2008 ^^ This will be the 2nd Figma commercial to be aired, and it will features the whole SOS-Dan cast members!!
The first commercial was the one that featured Figma Nagato Yuki. You can view it below:
The new CM will be aired during commercial break of TV anime series “Monochrome Factor”. Really looking forward to this ^^ Hopefully someone will be kind enough to upload it on Youtube~( ^ _ ^ )/
A nice collaboration and cross overs between the characters from Dragon Ball Z and One Piece series ^^ I have to say, Goku looks really good in Luffy’s outfit~XD
This is what happen when they actually meet each other~

This new figure of “Twinkle Saber” from Twinkle Saber NOVA, will be available this coming August 2008 by Atelier-Sai and it’ll be up for 9,800 Yen retail price ^^ Hobby Search is taking reservations for her as of today.
Never heard of the series before, but this is another high price figure ^^; The details shown that it used ATBC-PVC & ABS materials. Nice looking figure though ( ^ _ ^ );
Continuing on where we left off, it’s time for “Saber Delusion Elegant Maid Edition” by Good Smile Company to get the review treatment ^^
This figure was originally released in 2007, but the one that I have is the re-release version, which was released earlier this month. Ok…so it’s a big turn out from the evil looking “Saber Alter” to Saber in her lovely Maid uniform ^^;
This figure is part of Good Smile Company’s 3 “Maids”Fate/Hollow Ataraxia figurine. The other two are Rin and Raider, which then you can connect them all together using the “Special” base ^^ Another excellent sculpt by GSC I have to say. The paint job and details, as usual, were great. Although there isnt much details that needs to be shown, you can really feel the essence of a “Maid”~
The figure also comes with a miniature wooded chair, and the skirt is cast off-able ^^
Anyway, let the photos do the talking~
Close up~
Closer look of the uniform~
Without the skirt~
Pantsu~^^;
Nida‘s review will be next. Look forward to it~( ^ _ ^ )/
